MAISIE Williams has given fans a sneak peek at her first post-Game of Thrones role.
The 22 year-old actress shared a picture of herself in character for Sky One’s edgy upcoming comedy, Two Weeks to Live.
Maisie, who played Arya Stark in the HBO fantasy epic from 2011-2019, tweeted that her character is called Kim and it’s “a joy to be playing her”.
The accompanying picture shows Maisie sporting long wavy brunette locks but still maintaining Arya’s tomboy edge with dirty Dr Marten boots and mud-splattered clothing.
She looks ready for action sat atop the bonnet of a battered truck in the first look at the project.
Two Weeks To Live follows a young girl whose mother raised her cut off from the outside world and taught her survival techniques after the death of her dad.
But when Kim returns to the big wide world, things go wrong when she meets two blokes at a pub and winds up going on the run with them, chased by a gang of dangerous gangsters and the police.
The series, which will debut on Sky One next year, is made up of six half-hour episodes.
The official synopsis reads: “Kim is no ordinary fish out of water – she’s more like a great white shark who knows how to strip a Smith & Wesson SDVE pistol in 6 seconds flat and skin a deer to make a sleeping bag whilst perfectly reciting the lyrics to ‘I Will Survive.’ With her in their team, they might all just get out of this alive.”
The series also stars Fleabag’s Sian Clifford, Kerry Howard and Jason Flemyng.
