Natalie Dormer is a world away from Game of Thrones in the first-look at her character in Penny Dreadful spin-off series City of Angels.
The actress takes on the role of Magda in the new show, who is a supernatural demon and can take the appearance of anyone she chooses.
In a new on-set picture, Magda appears to be imitating an older-looking woman, complete with a brown and white get-up and grey hair.

City of Angels is also set to star the likes of Rory Kinnear, Shadowhunters‘ Dominic Sherwood and Star Trek: Discovery’s Ethan Peck.
The synopsis reads: “When a grisly murder shocks the city, Detective Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto) is embroiled in an epic story that reflects the rich history of Los Angeles: from the building of the city’s first freeways and its deep traditions of Mexican-American folklore, to the dangerous espionage actions of the Third Reich and the rise of radio evangelism.
“Before long, Tiago and his family are grappling with powerful forces that threaten to tear them apart.”
Dormer famously played Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones for a number of years before being killed off at the end of season six.
