Warning: Game Of Thrones season 8 spoilers ahead.

Game Of Thrones’ Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) has opened up on her heartbreaking death in the show and her sex scene with Jacob Anderson, who played her love interest Grey Worm.

Seriously, we’re still not okay after seeing her go.

The actress, who played Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) right-hand woman in the beloved fantasy series, revealed that she warned her mum a month in advance about her first ever on-screen sex scene.

‘I’m her baby, and she needs to be prepared for things like that,’ she said.

In the wake of the moment, some viewers were also a little confused about the logistics of the situation, given that Jacob plays a eunuch on the show.

‘There were quite a few feminist articles written about the fact that it was all about Missandei’s pleasure, but other people did ask: ‘Well, how did they do it?”‘

To this, Nathalie rolled her eyes, before pointing out to Net-A-Porter: ‘I’m like, guys, if you don’t know another way to do things, then I feel like you should learn. Quickly.’

However, things made a turn for the heart-breaking when her character suffered one of the most devastating death scenes this season, being thrown from the walls of the Red Keep by Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

The actress admitted she was ‘overwhelmed’ with the support shown to her after the episode was aired.

Nevertheless, she pointed out that we shouldn’t have really been that surprised.

‘A lot of the comments have been: ‘You deserved better’, but it’s Game of Thrones,’ she said. ‘There’s no justice, and it doesn’t matter how good you are or how kind or sweet you are, they [the show’s characters] will get you if it advances their own interests.’

Ain’t that the truth.

Previously, the star opened up to Entertainment Weekly about her death scene, dubbing it ‘fantastic’.

That’s one word for it.

‘I’ve said in so many interviews that I don’t mind if I die, I’m just happy to be here and be a part of the show,’ she said.

However, with Missandei’s death, fans were shocked to see Daenerys seemingly tip over the edge into madness as she burnt King’s Landing, killing masses of innocent people.

While she was previously one of the favourites to sit on the Iron Throne at the end of the series, some have predicted she’ll end up doomed and dragonless by the finale.

Only time will tell.

Game of Thrones season 8 continues next Sunday and Monday on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
