Game of Thrones’ star Nathalie Emmanuel has revealed that the show will be ‘finished so beautifully’.
Confirming what show runner Francesca Orsi has previously suggested regarding the final table read, Nathalie told Metro.co.uk that that the final table read was ‘so emotional’ before claiming that the final episode is ‘so great’ and will not leaves fans unsatisfied.
‘It definitely will not be rushed conclusion,’ she added, discussing fan concerns that the length of season seven and then season eight will affect the storytelling.
‘They’ve taken the exact number of hours to tell the story they want to tell and it will be brilliant. [Show bosses] will never leave the fans unsatisfied, they won’t leave the fans left short, it will go over and above the fans expectations as they do every season.’
Nathalie joined Game Of Thrones in 2013 as Missandei, Daenerys Targaryen’s interpreter and handmaiden.
Missandei has been present throughout Daenerys’s reclamation of her ancestral stronghold of Dragonstone, however her romance with Grey Worm has left fans wondering if Missandei’s storyline in season eight may see her prioritise love over Danearys getting the throne.
Speaking to Variety, Francesca said: ‘[The table read] was a really powerful moment in our lives and our career.
‘None of the cast had received the scripts prior, and one by one they started to fall down to their deaths.’
