Lucknow: Some candidates in the frayin Lucknow have obsessions with certain sets of digits and numbers which they believe bring them good luck.
Qayam Raza, BSP candidate from Lucknow West, relies on 2804. Out of four vehicles he owns, three have 2804 as registration number. âThis number is lucky for my family, hence I always get it for my vehicles,â he said.
Ashish Sinha, another BSP candidate from Lucknow East, has 1919 on the number plate. âIt’s a lucky number for me and I believe it to be the secret of my success so far in any work I have done,â he said.
For Sallauddin, BSP candidate from Bakshi Ka Talab constituency, 7676 is the lucky number as all four of his vehicles have 7676 as the registration number.
âMy son has obsession with this number. Even his mobile number ends with these four-digits. So we always book this numbers for our vehicles too,â he said.
Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Congress candidate from Lucknow North has two SUVs, both with 199 in the number plate. Even his old scooter had the same number. âWhen I used to ride a scooter, I never met with any accident. Thereafter, I made sure that 199 remain on all my vehicles,â he said.
Rudra Daman Singh, Congress candidate from Sarojini Nagar, has three vehicles with the same number of 5200.
âMy first SUV had this number. Since then I feel this number has been lucky in my political career. First time it was a coincidence, but after that I bought the number in auction for the other three vehicles,â he said.
