A new fan theory has pinpointed exactly who is to blame for the White Walker invasion in season seven, and it isn’t who you would expect.

The season seven finale climaxed with the Night King desecrating The Wall under blue flames from atop dead dragon Viserion, but some fans are now blaming one seemingly innocent baker for triggering this cataclysmic event.
Reddit user abdo0000 has detailed why bread baker Hot Pie could have instigated the entire unravelling of Westeros, and it all stems back to his meeting with Arya back in episode two.
The Redditor wrote: ‘Hot Pie is the reason behind all of this. It’s all because of him.
‘If he didn’t tell Arya that Winterfell is under [the] Starks’ control, Cersei could be dead now. Jon and his company won’t [go] get a White Walker. They won’t go beyond the Wall. Viserion would be alive. The Wall won’t fall. And all [of] Westeros would be united against the Night King.’
Hot Pie landing everyone in hot sh*t? We should have seen this coming.
Of course, this all entirely hitches on whether Arya would have succeeded in killing Cersei, but judging by her skills as a Faceless assassin, we imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult.
It’s certainly true Arya adjusted course following Hot Pie’s involvement though, so maybe this baker is bad to the bun.
Elsewhere, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has teased his hopes for Jaime Lannister after his rogue departure from King’s Landing in the season seven finale.
We have a while to wait however, with Game Of Thrones season eight potentially not arriving until 2019.
