Game of Thrones has a plethora of compelling characters with equally intriguing storylines, but few come close to Jaime Lannister‘s redemption journey, which was played by actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Coster-Waldau has been a familiar name in Hollywood even before he took up the mantle of the Kingslayer, however, his recent big-screen cameo surprised a number of fans.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in The Flash
The Game of Thrones alum made a surprising appearance in DC’s new film The Flash. As the story goes, a younger version of Barry Allen (Flash) begins to get a bit cocky with his newfound speed powers, and begins to misuse them, when he begins to feel the effects of increased metabolism on his body. He stops for a second to steal a grub from a person enjoying his pizza, and that happens to be our very own Jaime-f**king-Lannister, aka Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
How did Nikolaj Coster-Waldau end up in The Flash?
The Flash director Andrew Muschietti and Coster-Waldau have been friends for a really long time. They worked together in the critically acclaimed horror film “Mama”, where Coster-Waldau plays twins. Mama gave Muschietti his biggest Hollywood break, so it makes sense he would like to include his friend in his new big-budget endeavor.
