  1. Narrated Hafsa

"It is not sinful (of a Muhrim) to kill five kinds of animals, namely: the crow, the kite, the mouse, the scorpion and the rabid dog."

[Sahih al-Bukhari » Book of Penalty of Hunting while on Pilgrimage]

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah
that when the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

    لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ صَفَرَ وَلاَ هَامَةَ
"There is no 'Adwâ[1], no Safar[2] and no Hâmah[3]," a Bedouin said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about camels that are running about in the sand like deer, then a mangy camel comes to them and they all get infected?" He said:
    "Who infected the first one?"

[Sahih Muslim » The Book of Greetings]

It was narrated that Jâbir رضى الله عنه said:
"The Messenger of Allah  صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

    لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَلاَ غُولَ
'There is no 'Adwâ, no Tiyarah[4] and no Ghoul[5]."

[Sahih Muslim » The Book of Greetings]

    _________

[1] 'Adwâ: Meaning one will not automatically be infected by another's ailment, rather only if Allah has decreed it.

[2] Safar it refers to the tape worm or a similar parasite. The Arabs used to say that it was more contagious than leprosy. So the negation was not of its existence, but of the superstitions surrounding it. There are also other sayings defining it, see no. 5797 and for more see Fath Al-Bâri, Chapter 25 in the Book of Medicine.

Other Scholars view that it refers to the pagan belief that the arrival of the month of Safar bodes evil.

Just like you see in this video "winter is coming" and how they beautify such for the people.

[3] Hâmah: Scholars mention different meanings for this pre-Islamic belief: It is a worm that comes out of the murdered person's head seeking vengeance; it refers to the owl which was considered a bad omen if seen in certain circumstances; or it was a bird that came from the bones of a dead person which would fly away. See Fath Al-Bâri and An-Nihâyah.

[4] Tiyarah: Evil omens derived mostly from the flight of birds.

[5] Most of the scholars explain that it refers to a certain type of Jinn that murders travelers during the night after leading them astray on their journey.

Ghoul (pl. gheelaan) means a kind of jinn or devil. The Arabs used to think that the ghoul lived in the wilderness and would appear to people, and that it could take on different shapes and colours, and that it would make them lose their way, seeking to kill them.

And it was said that this was not denying that ghouls exist, rather it was a denial of the Arabs’ belief that they could change shape and colour and make people lose their way, hence the meaning of “no ghoul” is that they cannot make people lose their way. This is borne out by another hadeeth, “There is no Ghoul but there is Sa’aali” This is in Muslim and elsewhere.

Sa’aali: is a magician among the jinn, but among them there are magicians who base their magic on confusion and illusions… al-Khallaal narrated from Taawoos that a man accompanied him, then a crow cawed and the man said, “Good, good.” Taawoos said to him, “What good is there in this, and what evil? Do not come with me!”

    [al-Aadaab al-Shar’iyyah, 3/369, 370]

Hollywood: the moutpiece of the shaitan, are beautifying shirk (polytheism, paganism, idolotry, magic, immorality) and superstitious beliefs for you. So beware of them.

Everything that will save you from the Fire and how to enter Paradise, the Everlasting Gardens under which rivers flow, after this life – have been explained in detail in Islam.

  2. Yeah, now I have all the seasons and four books.

To be honest I really don't liked fantasy before Games of Thrones, the only fantasy that I show some interest was Lord of The Rings, but the rest I ignore it completely, even Harry Potter, I have read the books and see the movies, never the less capture my attention as Games of Thrones or Lord of The Rings.

  3. Looking back now, it very funny that I thought that Games of Thrones was an publicity trick of HBO to have more viewers, I thought that it was a joke two years ago.

Now, I year a ago, I have curiosity and begin to do research about Games of Thrones, first I find the wallpapers, then I research the books, and I buy a few of them, finally I get the season 1 and 2 in DVD, and now in the present, I am another fan of George RR Martin, him and Tolkien are the only fantasy writers that I really like.

  4. you probably a twilighter so I'm not gonna waste my time with you , it's my opinion so I'm gonna do whatever I want , either you like it or not because I don't care about your damn opinion , and I.Y.I Mr ? really ? lol

  5. The first three books can be read as a trilogy and end well-rounded. Afterwards the story becomes really dispersed with characters all over the world. Rather than to be following tons of characters at the same time, Martin has chosen to split up the characters among the books.
A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons follow the timeline synchronously. However DWD has the most interesting characters for FFC will be a tough read. Good luck, the 5th will make up for it. Promised.
