It has been over two years since Game of Thrones wrapped up filming. However, the show is still the topic of conversation on various social media platforms and online forums, for good reasons or bad. After the controversial final season, Game of Thrones might have lost a few fans, but the show did have its moments, some of them were mesmerizing and mind-boggling. As we step into the new year with new hopes and dreams, and await the arrival of the prequel show House of The Dragon, letâs relive the epicness of the amazing TV show that united people from all over the world in a single fanbase.
HBO recently posted a clip on the Game of Thrones official Twitter account, showing how the original storyboard was mirrored in the show. The scene they used for reference in this clip is captioned âThe Lion and the Dragonâ, which belongs to the season 6 episode titled âHomeâ.

It shows Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) making his way to the locked pit where Daenerys had left two of her dragons chained in Meereen. He decides to free the fierce Rhaegal and Viserion from their chains, one, due to his fascination with dragons, two, ease their suffering from being locked up for so long, and in turn, gain their trust so they could wreak havoc over the rebellious forces.
The conversion from storyboard to screen is almost the same, the only difference being Tyrion tripping on his way to the dragons which made the scene look way more ominous. Do you think Martinâs novels will follow the same path as the TV show? Talk to us in the comments below!
