Does anyone else think that Varys was referring to Lysa when he emphasised" a major talent for befriending powerful men, AND WOMEN" Maybe even suggesting he knows what Littlefinger convinced Lysa to do.

I just love how Varys walks up to him and casually talk about his ambitions on getting the Iron Throne and executing all who would protest, like they've been talking about this for years now like it was some job promotion. (which it kinda is)

how I picture the final scene of the series/book: Varys and little finger walking in the gardens of the red keep after Danys coronation. they walk and reflect on things. they bicker like this scene. Varys rubs it in that he has beaten little finger in the race for the throne. Then one em utters the words "shall we play another game?" Both men grin. END.

Has anyone noticed Baelish never drops eye contact when he bows? Good acting quirk.

This scene reminds me a lot of The Wire in that even when a new regime of power comes into being the same games are being played out over and over again.

The conversation between these two is top notch. The delicacy of wording while still carrying so much weight of philosophy. I cannot think of any better conversations in TV show history.
