Game Of Thrones prequel Bloodmoon has welcomed four new cast members to its name and we’re getting more excited every day.

According to Winter Is Coming, Jacqueline Boatswain, Jasper Britton, Leah Gayer and Georgina Beedle will be joining the highly-anticipated spin-off which is being headed by Naomi Watts.

Leah is said to be playing a character named Caera, while Jasper is taking on the part House Master Cole, as per their agency profiles.

Meanwhile, details of former Hollyoaks actress Jacqueline and Catherine The Great star Georgina’s role remains up in the air.

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for the actors for comment.

Bloodmoon, a working title, is set thousands of years before the events of Game Of Thrones, and has been penned by screenwriter Jane Goldman and George RR Martin.

‘Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game Of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age Of Heroes into its darkest hour,’ reads the synopsis.

‘And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.’

The prequel wrapped the first episode of the potential new spin-off back in July, with filming taking place in locations such as Belfast and Italy.

Creator George RR Martin spilled some details about how it connects to Game Of Thrones, confirming House Lannister won’t be featured but you can expect some Starks loitering about.

‘The Starks will definitely be there,’ he told EW. ‘Obviously, the White Walkers are here – or as they’re called in my books, The Others – and that will be an aspect of it.’

He added: ‘There are things like direwolves and mammoths.’

Game Of Thrones is available to stream on Sky One and NOW TV.
