SYNOPSIS:
Valyria is on the eve of celebrating its first incestuous marriage, but this has stirred controversy among the elite and underclasses. What appears to be a metaphor for the downfall of the Valyrian Freehold is simply a precursor to the true destruction about to come.

PURPOSE:
Loving Game of Thrones, we spent years compiling a story and world that can help give audiences a new adventure that brings audiences closer to the franchise they already love. This is essentially a pitch to hopefully produce a live action version.

  1. Hey Everyone! We did a lot of research into GoT lore and made sure EVERY detail was integrated into this. Things like the Targaryens being a "minor" family that moved years before the Doom from a society that had "common" incest marriage is purposely contrasted by what we're displaying. The question becomes how/why did this information change by the time of Game of Thrones – also remember that the foremost authority of Valyrian history in ASOIAF was Galendro – who is a character in this story. We hope you can enjoy the story and draw up your own conclusions as to how things end up.

  2. Fantastic job! By pure coincidence, I happened upon this movie right after a GoT parody where I voice the characters got posted. (You can view it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh32H4dAY1M&t=9s ) At the end of the parody, Tormund exclaims, "Prequel time!!!" And lo & behold, here's a prequel, also animated. I'd love to be part of your voice actor talent pool in subsequent projects of yours, whether it's the next episode of "Doom of Valyria" or something else. I'm impressed with what you've accomplished and look forward to seeing more of your work.

  3. Ok, correct me if I am wrong, but the red-haired slave girl Milly… Is that Melisandre? And the mysterious guy with the red/white hair, is that Jaqen H'gar himself or his ancestor? TIf it's true, that'd be major EASTER EGG factor! 😛

  4. Spoiler Alert…
It wasn't a flame from which valyrians learned how to tame dragons. There was an ancient civilisation that ruled over Yi Ti and Shadow lands and also established colonies overseas. Black oily stone architectures that can be found across different parts of the planet were built by this civilisation. Septon Barth and different accounts indicate that dragons originated from this civilisation and dragonlore in Asshai also supports these accounts. There are two possibilities that explain valyrians emerging as dragonlords: 1) the first dragonlords were descendants of colonists from this ancient civilisation; 2) they, in a way, acquired this knowledge from them. How valyrians came to being dragonlords is a matter of speculation. Yet the similarities between black oily stone built by this ancient civilisation and ornamental black stone structures built by valyrians indicate that there should be some connection or interaction between these two civilisations.

  5. Wow. This is really cool. Now I want a whole show of that. Good job.
But in my opinion you shouldn't have shown the Valyrians finding the eggs and hatch them. I think in reality the birth of dragons was more complicated. The Valyrians had massive mines where slaves worked and died. But what did they mine? Firewyrms. They bred them with wyverns and created dragons.

  6. My expectations were quite low but this is great. I was trying to think of a trolly thing to say down here and kept watching and I trolled inwards, and suddenly I found myself liking it 🙂 well done, young Patrick. I would like to commission you to produce a second edition of this animation wherein all the males make out with each other.

  7. I honestly wasn't sure I would like animations but these are wonderful! Especially since I'm missing Game of Thrones. 😉 I wish you success and will definitely like and subscribe. I believe this will be in high demand! Great job!
