It's not fake if you believe in the multiverse theory, meaning that everything imaginable exists in a larger multiverse of mind. There fore stories like Game of Thrones, all the history and the characters, are real but exists in a universe only accessible through the minds eye.
Can't help but think that GoT will become the Star Wars of television. Just the idea of all these prequels sound like a way to milk the franchise dry, if they all come to fruition. Idk, not sure how I feel about this
