  1. The Dance would be wonderful and the only thing I can think of that is like Game of Thrones in terms of Political/Action/scope in the setting. Aegon's conquest isn't that involved politically and didn't la take that long to complete. As much as I want to see it, the Long Night and the First Battle for the Dawn will probably have everything explained (in the books at lest) by the time TSoFaI is done.

  2. Yes, I believe it will include at least Dance of Dragons if not exclusively centered around the events. Blackfyre rebellion would be an another guess since that was largely ignored in GOT. Personally I'd love to see a show set in Yi-Ti too.

  3. I really don't understand the logic behind not doing a Robert's rebellion series. It's a direct prequel, and I think the majority of fans would like to see it all play out. It was seem to me that it be the most relevant and logical route to take. There's several instances in the show where rhaegar targaryen is told to be an incredible warrior, perhaps in a prequel series, they could make a huge plot point of Robert defeating him in some sort of shady or unfair way. I've always been curious if it was a truest clean victory.

  4. I think that using all of ASOIAF was too much source material for a series. Therefore, they should go with a concept that allows for shorter stories that they can focus on with more detail. Being as her stories are most accurate I think "Old Nan's Hearth Tales" would make a great spinoff.

  5. Valyria and the Doom would sync up as a prequel and explain why the Targaryen's came to Westeros in the first place setting up the history we do know to some extent but be new as well. Based on the snippets we know of there was in fighting in Valyria much like Kings Landing which would keep some of the intrigue that drives Game of Thrones as well. It would have historical characters we know about but have never seen. Dragons and fan favorite stuff, Magic and Priests from Asshai as well as maybe the rise of Rhylor. Speaking of they could also use Melisandre as a Character story line about becoming a Priest and her history which could be interesting, seeing how she came to be from a slave and then her involvement with many aspects of the history of Essos and Westeros as well as possibly a aspect of being involved with the Doom as well. Her age has been said to be over 800 years old in some theories. The could call it the "The Search for the Prince that was Promised. "Or How to make Shadow Babies by Melisandre "

  6. The Greyjoy rebellion would be cool. Seeing Ned, Rob and Jamie in their prime. And of course seeing a drunk Thoros of Myr ruining through the breach of pike with his flaming sword.

  7. As you point out, we already know more about that time period but we want to see it, right? Who doesn't want to see a young Robert swinging his hammer? More of young Ned? A young Cat, Jaime, more of Arthur Dayne, and a younger Aemon Targ??? What a treat that would be!!

  8. Why would HBO let GRR remove "Robert's Rebellion" from the options when millions upon millions of GoT fan eyeball crave for and devour every flashback to that time period in the current show? Irritating and dumb!!!
