The first time I watched this episode on the tele, I was hoping so much Arya was able to save Greywind. Then the crossbowmen appeared and I was really devastated.
That being said, anyone else remember words by words the ending scene when Catelyn Stark started to put a knife on Walder's wife throat? That scene is so powerful imo.
What an intense, internal reaction. We can see the exact moment that you change. This show changes people. It is as brutal on the audience as it is on the characters.

Little fun fact… one of the musicians in the balcony was Will Champion of Coldplay. He and Chris Martin are big fans of the show, and Will got himself a bit part banging on a drum in this episode.

Yeah…it sucks…objectively it's worse in the show because Robb's wife is neither pregnant or present, but seeing it through Catelyn's eyes in the book is utterly crushing as well (I watched it a while ago, but just read the book). I was in stunned silence the first time. My reaction was similar to yours. It's just so horrible…
