jaja cuando dijiste "tenemos que verla desnuda otra vez?" y luego apareció como vieja jajaja!!, te comentó yo en su momento cuando el episodio salió no lo sabía pero entre los fans había teorías de que ella era más anciana de lo que parecía…luego pensa…Stannis se acostó con ella! y Gendry también, y Jon estuvo cerca de hacerlo! . También surgió otra polémica porque la escena te da a entender que su poder para verse más joven reside en el collar, pero hubo una escena en la otra temporada en que ella se saca el collar y se sigue viendo joven, así que empezaron las teorías, pero para mi fue obvio fue un error de continuidad

Two fun facts about Carice van Houten, who plays Melisandre on GoT:

1) She was initially approached to play Cersei, but had to refuse due to scheduling conflicts with a film she was in at the time. They eventually landed her to play Melisandre.

2) The year before GoT, she was in another movie called "Black Butterflies" about a South African poet who had love affairs with two men. One of them was played by Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos. Indeed, they do have a love scene together in that film; which looks weird, given the dynamic and tension you see between their GoT characters

How can you say the Lord of Light isn't real when you saw evidence of some kind of power in season 3 when Beric Dondarrion (Eyepatch guy from the Brotherhood without Banners) was brought back from the dead — and it was mentioned that he was brought back numerous times before that…?

Sora Melisandre is over 400 years old. Because of Lord of Light she is still alive. In the show there are many evidence that he is real. The age of Melisandre, she drunk the poison in s2, she gave birth to the shadow baby. Also Beric Dandarion resurected 6 times by Thoros of Myr. I believe that about Stannis, in simple words, she misunderstood the messages in the fire.

You've seen many use the power of the lord of light so far. Not only Melissandra but when Beric(the guy with a patch on his eye) from the brotherhood without banners was resurrected for the 6th time. I think so far you've also seen a couple more of read ladies all over the world.

You have to watch THE SOPRANOS someday….and you will never regret it…

She was a true believer. Remember the other red priest with the Brotherhood. He lost his faith, but then regained it.

I think u are confused about Melisandre. She is nothing more than a true believer in the lord of light and a high level priestess. She isn't a witch. Shes just a religious fanatic. The reason she is so upset and depressed right now, is because everything that happened with Stannis has shaken her faith in everything shes stood for. When she was burning men and children alive, she always believed it was in service to a god. But now shes not sure anymore.
