Varys is the best guy to watch in the background for facial expressions. Also, he might be the only one who truly understands how fucking hilarious Tyrion is.
Littlefinger trying to talk to Tywin is kind of hilarious. Because Tywin is one of the few that Littlefinger is uneasy around. Because Tywin don't take no shit and he can smell a liar from 23 leagues away.
Also Petyr trying to keep his face blank as Varys comments on Harrenhal.
3:04 Varys and Tyrion exchanges glances lol
3:47 Littlefinger going: ok, pls don't let Tywin Lannister be on to me. If he's not, this is hilarious. If he is, I'm so already fucked.
Lol Cersei at 3:33
This scene was so incredible. Man, Peter Dinklage is great!
I miss the small council meetings. These scenes were what made the show in the beginning.
This reminds me of Men In Black
Honestly, Cercei moving the chair next to her father was kinda cute.
You know when you watch all these clips on their own it's almost like everyone in power is trying to strangle the kingdom and they don't even know it
Oh how I wished Tywin would have said in the end: "Shut up Pycelle, the only reason you are here is because forcing you to walk your old ass around the large castle will eventually shorten your already tiny life span!"
Pycell, what piece of shit
Vary's facial expressions stole this scene
Littlefinger be like I'm here to kiss ass and claim titles.
The aura of power that surrounds Tywin in this scene is incredible! From the moment the others walk into the room to see him standing there and not a word said shows his true position over them, they fear & respect him! Tyrion is the only one who doesn't really give a shit 😂
Now imagine a council meeting with Euron, Ramsay, The Mountain, Karl Tanner and The Mad King. That would be a sight.
I like it that Tywin was already standing there first and his hand holding onto the chair firmly. Just like how the male lion gets to eat first.
How is naming tyrion master of coin an insult? Can someone explain?
Fuck Pycell. I wish Varys would had started a vicious rumor about Pycell through out Kings Landing.
Varys: Psst! Tyrion come over here. You won't believe this shit, but I caught Pycell & Littlefinger bumping broom sticks in the linen closet. Spread the word.
I treasure the beginning of this scene SOOO much.
legendary scene
Is this why Littlefinger decided to frame Tyrion for Joffrey's murder?
3:20
Except episode4…Season7 is the most boring season of all GOT.
Petyr being sarcastic: 2:51
Varys in same scene thinking " God, still a sycophant" sighs.
Hot stuff!!- Varys in 3:02
Uuhh pycelle annoys me so much!!! Acting like he's better than Tyrion…..FU Pycelle!
I love when people —- like Cersei Lannister —- who have no education, experience or even basic understanding of finance or economics attempt to make light of those who do. Sadly, of course, that would include our last president and four fifths of all members of the United States Congress.
If you have already read the books and hold the opinion that Tywin hates or even dislikes Tyrion. I urge you to read the books again, and while you do, remove any current beliefs or opinions regarding their relationship and try to read between the lines. Who says what, does what and how did you come to the conclusion that Tywin does not like Tyrion. Does Tywin dislike Tyrion? Does he hate Tyrion? And lastly, but most importantly, does Tywin have good reason not to like Tyrion.
Since Tyrion is a point of view character, unlike Tywin. It's easy to only see one side of the argument regarding their strained conflict. I hold the opinion that Tywin has good to dislike Tyrion, and that Varys is responsible for turning Tywin's opinion from disliking Tyrion, to Tyrion believing that Tywin outright hates him.
Read the chapter where Tyrion demands Casterly rock closely as well.
Time has proven tyrion right. Baelish would not have been able to plot joffereys death had he remained in Kings landing, everyone on that table underestimated littlefinger, except for tyrion. And also, far from using the Vale against the starks, he'd go on to help them in the battle of the bastards.
Musical chairs
What amazing actors. Each one of them.
curious as to why they are all silent? is it just for the audience?
Deadass lost it at Tywins little smirk when they first enter the room and realize what he's done with the arrangement.
