  1. Robb Stark was my favourite character, seeing him dead pissed me off so much and then they sewed his Dire Wolf's head onto his body after cutting of his head, then chanted as if they had fairly beaten and killed Robb
Thank god Arya killed the Freys and Roose got a taste of his own medicine when his own son stabbed him to death

  2. My god, am I stupid? I didn't get that offsetting feeling like other viewers did, even when they started playing a song about how the lannisters destroyed a rebellion, lol. I notice details but everything was going so well for the starks that I just didn't notice that detail.

When they killed Rob I was so pissed… Like, he was my favorite character, mainly because I love the starks and I love Sean Bean who played eddard stark. I was mad when Eddard Stark died but I was happy to see Rob rise up and be king of the north… so much for that.

  3. Talisa + Baby stabbed repeatedly: "oh, pitty"
Robb shot countless arrows then stabbed: "oy, the hot guy, too bad"
Catelyn gets her throat slit and falls down: "meh, that drama queen had to go eventually"
Arya witnesses Grey Wind's death howling and closing his eyes: "OH MY FUCKING GOD! 😭😭😭"

  4. Why do even good shows/movies still do the tacky spurting blood thing?…. I mean, there's enough free real gore videos to know that doesn't actually happen, and it's just a cheap tactic to make viewers cringe. Because death isn't enough. It has to be impossibly dramatic.

  5. – I think Romb's stance against his oath did not really matter, as Tywin would have paid a greater prize in money to old Frey. So the slaughter was inevitable.
    – Maybe by killing some of your audience's beloved characters is repulsive. Maybe on the other hand, your audience's need to see justice delivered to the characters responsible for this, makes them more eager to watch what happens next. A fine storytelling trick nonetheless

  6. The part I love about this scene, is the first two minutes. Although they don't make it obvious, you just feel in your gut and heart that something feels terribly off. Though nothing major is happening, you can't help but feel really unsettled. Obviously you learn why a few minutes into the scene. Game of Thrones knows no bounds.
