Even though Tyrion pissed Joffrey off so many times, I wonder why he never actually punished him. I don't think anyone would have tried to save Tyrion either
Rage!
His death wasn't satisfying enough
Anybody else get a slight feeling that Tywin was being a tad protective of Tyrion here? Or at least very much on his side.
He remains quiet throughout most of the scene, one could assume because Tyrion was biting back so well and there was nothing to appropriately bite at Joffrey with yet. But the moment he threatens Tyrion, he immediately calls the little shit king out on his bullshit and then promptly silences the entirety of the table, very much enraged by Joffrey's immature, ignorant and cruel idiocy.
Maybe not, but when I watch the scene I get the feeling Tywin was not about to let the blind idiot king threaten his son.
Just look at Varys' face through out this video, hilarious!
turn on the caption at 3:23
How is Sansa Joffrey's aunt by marriage?
3:23 turn on captions XD
Tyrion is stupid, Tywin is much more starter, such a genius tactical and strategical leader.
2:57 I like the way he sais that,it's good acting.
is this days if our lives?
really tick me off when this wimpy joffrey said his father(king robert) kill rhaegar…well king robert was not your father dickhead, your uncle was your father, lol…so glad knowing that this scum never found out about that, pathetic
Robb dying almost made me quit the series bro…😭
Why didn't Tywin just get over his issues with Tyrion? He could've used his mental prowess for his advantage
Jeoffrey is power drunk but with one look Tywin makes him feel like a child again haha.
I miss how great this show used to be
You really think a crown gives your power? Tywin one of the coldest in the game. I loved his Charles dance so much
Always turn the captions on
I'm not sure it's ever been fully appreciated how excellent Charles Dance was in this role. I'd bet about 80 percent of his lines are said at one volume for his entire run on the show, but his performance never comes across as wooden or one-dimensional. Here, he manages to remind everyone he's the most powerful man in the room with a tilt of the head, a steely-eyed glare and a perfect delivery of the line (I love the little stress on the word "tired"). And he always brought the best out of every other actor with him in the scene. I particularly love his exchange with Tommen when he's telling Tommen what makes a good king.
"I wanted to take you to the sea, and let the waves wash you away. But I instead I let you live"
Wow, how kind of you Tywin. I will never again question your motives.
omg tywin is bare scary!!! he can kill jeoffery if he wanted to!
tywin is a beast
1:42–1:45 Joffrey made me laugh 😂 his reaction to everything is hilarious
When your mom walks in your room and tells you that 11 pm is late 3:00
the look joffrey has on his face at the beginning of this scene always gets me laughing so badly
few more days guys
Joffrey is the true son of Walder Frey.
"Thank you for that wisdom, Your Grace." said Lord Tywin with a courtesy so cold it was like to freeze their ears off.
Trump arguing with his council in the White House!
2:24 is where the fun begins
2:27

Why do i hate Pycelle so much :@
That tiny shift of Tywin's head at 2:25, and suddenly everyone goes quiet. Even Joffrey straightens and knows he's done something wrong. Charles Dance has one heck of a presence.
I love how Tyrion not wanting to rape a girl is considered "his own selfish desire".
Killed some puppies today?
"A treasonous statement, Joffrey is King" 😁lol
"Any man who must say
I am the kingis no true king" ….wish that was my grandfather right there lol awesome"Use small words i'm not as bright as you"
i love how tyrion mocked his father in this scene 😂
"And I brought you up as my son". No one says this to their own children.
The moment you realize that Tywin let the truth out…Tyrion is not his son…but he is still a Lannister.
The look Tywin gave him. Juste like "You little piece of shit"
Great actors
