  1. Daario wanted her to be the dragon. Heck, even Olenna Tyrell wanted her to be the dragon, but I think mainly for vengeance. Jorah and Barristan tempered her fire. Barristan especially, because he was older and close to her brother. When Tyrion joined her, there was another who hoped to temper her, then Varys, but even they found it a challenge. She has a good heart, but a firey, vindictive temper. If anyone can cool those fires post-Barristan, maybe Jon, IMO. Curious to see how season 8 plays out.

  2. She was angry and shouldn't have done that. Barristan was killed. If Jorah and/or Barristan were there, she wouldn't have done that. Luckily, Jon will be the Ice to cool her Fire…….see what I did there? Lol

  3. i love how people are mad at dany for having done this and saying, oh she's threatening to kill these people without trial, you mofos do remember that these are the same people that owned people and had them killed just to be entertained for the day right?

  4. Don't be fooled by Emilia Clarke's eyebrows and her funny interviews. Dany is a GOT character and she is just as bad as anyone who wishes to stay in power in that world.

  5. Fifth Amendment
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
    Sixth Amendment
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
    Eighth Amendment
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

I think she just violated three Amendments

  6. Not saying she's good, but she was definitely acting irrationally out of grief and heartbreak. She threw aside reason and justice, because she felt betrayed and took the attack as a personal one. If her advisor was still alive, she's have been smarter about it

  7. This is a side to Dany that is concerning considering what her father did. No trial here just burning people whether they're innocent or not. Westeros needs a ruler who is just and fair in their approach to dealing with law breakers and they especially don't want someone who enjoys burning people like the mad king did.

  8. There's no such thing as a perfect ruler, it's impossible to please everyone and you're never going to get everything right. I think people also forget how young she is and that she'd just lost someone very dear to her, not to mention how frustrating her situation is. If she does nothing, if she comes across weak those who oppose her will steamroll her, if she's too forceful she could make things worse. She has advisers and she listens. But which ones are right and which are not? They all have experience in areas she does not. Bear that in mind.

  9. Barristan was like family to her…. They only knew each other for a short time but to her Barristan quickly became family because he was the last connection she had to the memories of the brother and father she never met …. and he told her that her brother was a very good person and I think he's one of the only people who has made Dany laugh and have a human conversation ….
