You almost can't prevent spoilers. Reading one or two words is enough to get spoiled. Youtube in browser incognito mode helps a bit. But still…
Probably the most cliff-hangery season finale so far… Theon and Sansa leaping to freedom or to their deaths, Arya blinded by inappropriate use of a death-mask, Daenerys lost in the wilderness and surrounded by a hoard of Dothraki , Margaery and Loras still imprisoned while Cersei walks free and poor old Jon betrayed and murdered by his own men. AND still no sign of Bran! At least you don't have to wait a year to find out what happens next!
Gutted to lose your reactions to The Five Doctors. Accidents will happen… So many classics to choose from but I would suggest going back to 1963, episode 1 'An Unearthly Child' to see how it all began! Looking forward to the season review and what Indie makes of GOT! Should be interesting…. 🙂

man, fuck spoilers. i was also spoiled about the same thing though, so i get it. it was basically impossible to avoid if you spent any time on the internet in the past few years

You shouldn't be confused about Jon, because you're not supposed to know he comes back! That's the problem with spoilers — they ruin the shock and overall effect; IOW they SPOIL your experience! I get that it was next to impossible to avoid knowing that Jon comes back (since he's in all of the ads for the newer episodes), but still, try not to think ahead — or you will only be disappointed.
I quit after this one. Burning Shireen, the pleasure I took in Cersei's degradation, killing Jon fucking Snow! It was all too much. I stayed away during the hiatus and 3 episodes into season 6 . I gave in, caught up in time to watch 6×5 live. It was then I gave up all hope of anything good happening anywhere, ever (I'm in the US, so, you know, Trump). It is much less traumatic watching this show from the pit of despair, with a heart of darkness.

I actually felt so bad for Stannis, falling for the Red Womens every word was the end of him and his entire family. But ultimately it was his decision.
