  1. azor ahi (bad spelling i know) widow's wail and oathkeeper where ned's ice and we know special things are required to rteforge valarian steel that salt water is involved makes sense, so that is salt and smoke, if he kills tyrion as the lion, and then cersei as the love of his life, that would equal light bringer

  2. Great to hear some people who are critical of the show, yet understand that the fast pace of the show and its production is what makes the writing limited in quality. It's not that George is some genius, he takes his time and puts care into each sentence he crafts. If he was on the same time limit, he'd never be able to do it. Not to say he's not amazing, he is, but D&D get way more flack than they deserve. They do a good job with the time they have and the material they have. They've helped bring a huge audience to Westeros, and to George and his work. Even with all its flaws, Game of Thrones is still the most spectacular show on television, by far.

  3. The iron born wight idea also applies to the dothraki. I think the idea shows that power resides where men believe it resides. Look at how dany kills the khals, she didn't use any physical strength that the dothraki value and she is a woman but when it looks like she is the most powerful person there they bend to her anyway. When Jamie kills the mad king he thinks that it should've been harder to do so, but the mad king was an old man. The position as king made him seem stronger than he was. I think with theon the iron born saw him switch into that position of power and then believed that since he was able to do so he was just as strong as the captain and therefore stronger than them.

  4. I can think of a few things that happened this season that were very important: Dany coming to Westeros was a big deal. And also connecting her to Jon…that whole fire and ice thing is key to the story. Supposedly, GRRM intended for them to eventually come together. Also, Jon moving from being dead to fighting for Winterfell to becoming King and eventually finding out that he's a Targaryen is also a big thing this season. But I will agree that S7 felt like a transitional season for the ending.

  5. Watch the end of the episode again, technically you were right they just shortened the wall. You actually see that the wall is still up and the end of it has fallen so they did go around. Also Beric and Tormund are still alive i think, the final scene with both of them show they are on top the wall and the wall is slowing on crumbling. I think next season they will run the trench atop the wall and go to castle back to send a raven to winterfell.

  6. Episode 6 remains a mess. What is the proof the night king baited them ?
The spears ? In other episodes the white walkers also bring spears. So this is not the first time we have seen those spears in 7 seasons.
