  1. In the end Cersei is who killed him. If she had not falsely accused and put Tyrion on trial he wouldn't have been in a cell and Jamie wouldn't have had to set him free. Tywin knew Jamie wouldn't see Tyrion die for something he didn't do, heck even Cersei knew that and yet they created a situation where Jamie had to set him free. Meanwhile they tormented Tyrion and pretty much told him to suck it not caring wether he got a fair trial or not. Jamie didn't kill Tywin, in parts even Tyrion didn't, Cersei killed Tywin.

  2. Love how cersei tells jamie tywin loved him more than anyone else in this world when in reality jamie knows its actually tyrion who loves him more than anyone even to a point where daenaerys questions his loyalty to her as she knows how much he loves his older brother

  3. Tyrion is an awesome character but to those blaming Tywin for wanting him gone in this thread. This series is directly inspired by the War of the Roses and the Hundred Years War. The Late Middle Age mentality is soaked deep into everything in the books and to a lesser extent the series. In that context, in that mindset, no matter how brilliant and intelligent a man… he can only see Tywin as a shame, a disgrace and a symbol of potential flaws in the bloodline.

  4. Tywin was right about a few things, despite his myopic hatred of Tyrion. He was right that Jamie needed a wife. It's absurd how devoted Jamie was to a hateful woman, as he calls her, who was far from devoted to him. He was also right about the need to keep the Tyrells on their side. And he was right when he convinced Tommen that wisdom was the path to better kingship, as well as convincing Tommen that he needed a wife.
