My Geek Fuel Link:

The Daily Mail released this picture right after I made my last video and it changed everything. I wasn’t very happy about the wasted time BUT on this video I go into speculations of my own and some I’ve heard from others about who this redhead girl might be playing.

  1. The Karstarks and Umbers are irrelevant in the show now.

The show already has too much content to cover in the few episodes remaining. They are not going to add more. The actress is most likely a wedding guest for the R+L wedding scene.

  2. Yes, it's Alys Karstark, and I have a feeling she's going to be key in one future scene.
    Hear me out.
You know how they've been suggesting that Sansa might betray Jon, since last season?
Yes, I know, it's a stupid idea, and only the dumbest among fans believe it, but it's nonetheless something that the writers are playing with.
Well, in the first episode we see Sansa and Jon disagreeing about trusting the Karstark and Umber families, and then we see the surviving "leaders" of those two Houses.
Yet another scene played to suggest attrition between Jon and Sansa (/rolleyes).
Alys Karstark is a teenage girl with long, straight, red hair.
I think Alys Karstark will betray and try to murder Jon (validating Sansa's distrust of her House), but the scene will be played out in a way to makes us unsure of the identity of the would be killer, and giving us one more red herring towards the (retarded) "Sansa will betray Jon" theory.
