Why would they get attacked so far up north? I mean, everyone is assembled at Winterfell right?! They just wouldn't leave castles or farms (maybe those one or two stubborn farmers) to be manned just to easily get overrun and adding more bodies to the army of the dead? The only reason I can think of for recasting Lyanna Mormont is that Bella Ramsay might have grown up too much in the meantime for the age she's supposed to be – but 8-10 seems a bit too young for the character now, especially the lower end.
