I like how the execution scene in the first episode sets the tone of the show and establishes a level of barbarity that initiates viewers into the world they're about to observe. But as far as "highlights" go, Jon Arryn's death was the inciting incident for the entire main plot of Season 1. Jaime and Cersei's little chat at his funeral would have been a more appropriate scene to include at the beginning of the video, assuming that your goal was to summarize the plot of Season 1… which it really should be.

They got through the first season without me ever knowing there was a TV show on GoT and I was a little disappointed with how the books were better than it.
Still this is the BEST TV series I've ever seen! The Directors done a great job on this.

9 hours (or thereabouts) of Lord of the rings and I found it a bit slow in parts…10 hours or so of Game of Thrones,and I was captivated from beginning to end….going to watch season 2 in a few moments.
