I don't think it's a spoiler to explain that the Brotherhood are rebels. However, I don't think she understood your explanation. The Brotherhood are rebels against ALL the kings trying to take the throne. They serve no one but the innocent people suffering because of the wars and blood-thirsty soldiers roaming the land. So those idiot torturers think the smallfolk (peasants) are sheltering the Brotherhood by feeding them or giving them places to stay.

That guy with the rat scratching its way through his belly was a perfect example of how ineffective and cruel the torturers are…he just desperately threw out some random names (the butcher and his son) hoping they would let him live…I'm betting most of the names that people are giving up have no knowledge of the Brotherhood at all:(.

The timeline for the dragons not being around is only a little less than 150 years in Westeros, but the Doom of Valyria (~400 years back from the current timeline) was catastrophic for the dragon population in Essos, to the point that the only known surviving dragons were the five which the Targaryens had taken to Westeros.

Given the fact that the Red woman Melisandre has given birth to a demon shadow baby. Do you think her Lord of Light religion is the one and only true religion in the Game of Thrones world that is legitimate? Since we haven't seen proof of power from the Old gods or the New gods in their world.
