  1. Guys, react to history and lore, after the season, react to the lore, it's so interesting. It spoils nothing but does give you more insight. Still, best to watch it after having watched the season, really puts things into perspective.

  2. Some nice trivia btw, when Robb entered Walder offered him bread and salt. Doing that signifies a holy vow that they are guests beneath your roof and that they are under your protection. So Walders betrayel was even worse, that shit is simply not done, it's an insult to the gods.

Moreover, in the books, a couple of the frey boys play a game where one person is the lord of the crossing and you have to "cross the river", and the lord of the crossing gets to push the person crossing if he manages to say "mayhaps" without the other noticing.

Walder says "Mayhaps" several times while talking to Robb.

  3. This is the scene that basically convinced the creators that they had the make this show.
They thought that if they could just get to this scene, it would have been worth it.

This is probably the most famous scene in any tvshow ever, how you guys got to this point without knowing about it is amazing.
The amount of memes and shit that exist of this is ridiculous.

We've literally been waiting for you guys to get here for 3 seasons. Sniggering behind your back almost.

We've just been going "3 more seasons", "2 more seasons", "one more season", "5 episodes", "TWO EPISODES", "IT'S HAPPENING!".

Book reader knew it was gonna happen and filmed their friends during the episode. This scene literally started the '"react to" trend on youtube.

  4. Every youtuber uploading a reaction video of GoT with the title "Rains of Castamere" or just "Season 3 episode 9/ 3×09" is a must watch. It's almost like a rite of passage.

Anyway, hope you guys have the chance to research about the song "Rains of Castamere", there are plenty of videos as well regarding its origin and why Catelyn felt uneasy the moment she heard it played.

  5. You guys are awesome. I have been looking forward to this one my entire life. 😅
Got me super emotional right now. 😭😭

I know you've heard this one before, But the show gets absolutely better and better.
I'm sending you hugs from Florida. I'm a strong sender so brace yourselves. 😊😊

  6. The "poor girl" that Catlyn Stark killed (Walder Frey wife) was a collateral damage. Catlyn swore on her honor as a Stark and as a Tully (who are too houses that give a great importance to honor) to kill her if they don't let Robb go and she had to honor her promise… it's sad but it's war, or at least, the end of a war :'(
Welcome to after the Red Wedding ara !

  7. The song name ist The rains of Castamere is a Lannister song. In the moment they started singing she realised they are betrayed. But you should know that the Frey's did something that not even the Gods can forgive , they killed guests under their roof .

  8. every time you start getting too comfortable you know something bad is going to happen
as much as i dislike frey, it was a good move for him
if robb married his daughter = hand in ultimate power with the north and westeros
if robb didn't marry daughter = ally with someone who can take him down and marry his daughter so he can be a hand of power in the north
ultimately he wanted to build up his house name and just by marrying in with the uncle wasn't enough so he got back at those who broke their promise and he gets a hand of power in the north
    pretty win win for him
bolton gets the north and in good graces with the lannisters (the richest, and currently most powerful because joffery is on the throne) so good move for him as well
shitty for us because we love the starks but robb and ned in particular aren't well versed in the game so they died (cat was actually smart when it came to the game but died by association obviously)
they may be honorable but showing your cards and being transparent only hurts you in the long run
if you don't adjust to the game, you lose
that's why cersei's comment is so iconic 'when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die'
bad guys win because winning doesn't necessarily mean being honorable, usually you have to do horrible things to be in power

  9. This is the most brutal episode to ever watch. Each time I see it, it breaks my heart. Welcome to being men of winter. Keep watching! There is so much story yet to see. You guys are about to head into one of the best seasons of GoT.
