Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 8 [Part 2] REACTION/REVIEW!! “The Mountain and the Viper”

At the moment, I appreciated that the show was still capable of delivering a genuine surprise that still makes sense within the rules of the world.
But looking back, I gotta admit that Oberyn was one of the best, if not THE best character on GoT. And he was even more interesting in the books, apparently. It's a terrible shame that he plays such a small part in this story.

Genuine disappointment. Genuine horror. Genuine frustration. Genuine anger. Genuine hate. You have to feel it all to truly appreciate the victorious, beautiful, uplifting moments in this show.

Oh man guys. Don't ever quit watching. There is a point to the story. Yes, this show can piss the hell out of you for the many injustices committed here with the ones we root for BUT….. if you continue watching, a surprise could be waiting for you. Oberyn is a fantastic character; Pedro Pascal made him very seductive. A shocking loss. The situation with Jorah was detailed in a small council meeting in season 1. In fact, the first 2 episodes had some really big hints about another situation, which you guys caught.

So, now we love Grey Worm and Missandei. Oh, no.

It was so cute to see the two you happy in episode 7 and then it was funny to see you so frustrated in the 8. But you were not alone, we all had to pass for all this.

this episode is one of the reasons why I love reaction videos…

I think Orson is the parallel of the Mountain, a big guy crushing little bugs without reason. The Mountain killed a lot of people, including women and children just because he likes killing. And then Oberyn got smashed like a beetle.

I love seeing the reaction to this fight. People are always surprised when Oberyn starts displaying his skills – introducing himself to the crowd. The writers gave us clues that he was very talented, but we are used to dialogue being used a throwaway lines, so are brains don’t always pay attention unless we are also given visual clues.

I think it would be interesting to print out the transcripts of the episodes. Then highlight the bits which could pertain to the final season.

Well, something the saga is teaching you is: NEVER EVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN during a fight (especially not to brag in front your girlfriend). Also, at this stage, crushing our hearts is all GRRM's work 🙂 not the show writers'. I loved show Oberyn, Pedro Pascal nailed the part. Watch him in Narcos to mend your broken hearts, he's very good there too.
