They really did ruin the character of Mace Tyrell. They really can't make any decisions without either getting his permission or working around him. He may not be a fierce man but he is still one of the most powerful men in Westeros and for the most part women are not given any autonomy they are simply meant to be married off. Diana Rig is a horrible Olenna, every scene she is in makes me roll my eyes.

Why has season 3, and this season seemed to be moving so slow?
