  1. Great reaction, you two were fantastic as always. I was a book reader watching this and was hoping against hope for different ending, and was heart broken all the same. Thanks M and K for sharing, "trumpeting" was LMAO here.

  2. This has ended up being one of my all-time favourite Melissa/Kathryn reactions. Kathryn's fury at the great betrayal took me right back to how I burned the first time I saw it. And Melissa set that up perfectly. Absolutely glorious.

  3. nice artwork again, M. how does your sister feel about Theon now Melissa? i predicted she would start to feel better about him back in se.3, after see saw him save sansa in this scene.

  4. "we need some good news" sister of the year, lmao.
I never understood why ppl hated Olly so badly. He's just a kid, he was pissed off at seeing how their parents weren't avenged and felt betrayed by Jon. When he goes to Sam, he receives zero consolation and understanding. He was just used by Thorne.

  5. I love how Katherine laughs when using the expression " going to blow everybody fucking up" not knowing the true reality of Cersei's revenge.

And also how she thought it was so petty that they wrote "traitor" not knowing they had lured him to kill him.

  6. I didn't feel a sliver of any pity for Cersei during her walk. She's done so much worse to legions of others. Cersei's victims all wished they could have gotten off with a mere walk of shame.

  7. I expected a more joyful reaction from Kathryn when she heard about Uncle "Tresemme Hair" Benjen. I was excited for the roller coaster drop when it actually lead to Jon's fate.

  8. You're right Melissa , Cersei or any person didn't deserve that much harassment no matter what they have done. It might've been one of the saddest moments of the season when Cersei starts crying at the red keep

  9. Soooo at the end of this episode, 5×10, with the wait that we had endure before Season 6, the people we knew were dead was Selyse, Stannis, Meryn Trant, Myranda, Myrcella, and Jon. Add the fact we’re unsure that Theon and Sansa may have died from their jump… holy hell that means the thoughts going through Kathryn’s head… I thought Sansa and Theon both died, it would’ve quite the twist.

  10. this is what made me hate the high sparrow more than any character. religious self righteous ass hole puke. i have a deep abiding hatred of all religious con men/women preying on weak minded desperate people for their wealth and false pride. i would gladly kill them all.

  11. The only time I really felt for Cersei was in this episode. I did like how she managed to still stay strong through all that walk. Not an easy thing to do at all and Lena Headey was superb.
I hate the mob with all my heart. I remember the same people throwing things to Ned Stark as well. Feck the mob!

  12. I'm so excited for Katheryn to see season 6. It wasn't my favorite season but after going through all the previous seasons, seeing those banners rise in episode 6×9 was so bittersweet.

  13. George R R Martin does an amazing breakdown of the Walk of Atonement on the game of thrones youtube page. Even more than body shaming, the purpose of the Walk of Atonement is political, its to strip Cersei of all the awe and power that comes with being the Queen.
