I wish they have kept the scene of Danny riding Drogon as it was in the books. It is so much more beautiful and it even makes much more sense.
I'm glad you allowed Kathryn time to digest Shireen's death. As much as I love the final sequence of the episode at Daznak's Pit, it's just terribly timed. You're left with almost no time to process what had just happened and expected to forget all about in mere seconds.

can i just confirm that kathryn said 'sort out ur graphics ppl'?! what other tv show is she drawing her frame of reference from?! this is not a film, the CG is as good as it gets for television! other than that great reactions to a brutal episode. also the shot of dany and drogon flying above the arena with the sun behind them is my second favourite shot in all of GOT 🙂

I knew Kathryn would react this way. I had my tissues ready. To me, probably the second most heartbreaking scene in GoT to date. Season 5 is brutal to say the least.

i thought the shireen scene should have been last in this ep. it was far more dramatic than the danny/dragon scene to me, then the ep. should have ended without music, imo.
Unfun fact: the show rode the dragon this episode.
Kathryn was right about that being one of the last times Melisandre was happy for long while, lol. Can't wait for season 6 episode 1!!
Why is part 1 not available?
Drogon seriously injured several people when shooting this scene and had to be put down. They've been relying on CGI ever since.
I wonder how long she'll maintain that "Don't marry Khalessi" mantra? :p
Poor Kathryn, I knew this episode would be hard for her to watch, the next one will be hard as well. Hizdahr zo Loraq was the Meerensee Sansa. His father was killed after speaking out against the killing of the slave children. Hizdahr was constantly under the threat of death, and he was forced to marry the women who killed his father.
I really hate to see sis crying 😢😭… HURRY UP AND UPLOAD THE NEXT EPISODE!!!😲 😂😂😂😈

Oh poor Kathryn she had me 😢😢😢 too. That screaming tho, it gets me every time straight to the heart it's awful. You know it's going to happen but when it actually does it's a thousand times worse than you could imagine.

1:58 He's reminding me of the stupid kids from school. Sit down fool >:( The guy who is basically a slave to the woman who tortured his father to death, KNOWS that you can kill him at any moment. No need for this pathetic show. Plus, you constantly grab your dagger by the blade. And it doesn't even have a guard… So I guess that you can forget about parrying with it. Only throwing, which makes it useless in close encounters.
I was laughing when Kathryn kept asking if one of the fighters was from Dorne. Melissa had this look on her face like "shut up Kathryn it's a #TeamMormont scene!" 😂😂😂
