  1. Alex Siddig actually admitted that he played Doran in season 5 as if he was PRETENDING to want peace with the Lannisters and fully intended to betray them to side with Daenerys at the right time.

We've got to love Indira Varma for her awesome performance, but its a shame it led D&D to kill Doran off like a punk and make Ellaria and the Sand Snakes into a female House Frey/Bolton.

  2. We needed more of Doran and less of the Sand Snakes. The whole Dornish plotline could have been a lot more interesting and have made more sense if that had happened, or if the Sand Snakes' roles were given to better actors.

  3. Game of Thrones Season Finale Fan Fiction

~ Aftermath of the battle of winterfell. ~

A flayed Roose Bolton hangs upside down from the ceiling in the Great Hall. An audience is gathered before the new Wardeness Sansa.

    Sansa: Bring him

The doors to the great hall are opened and northern soldier men trod in a chained and battered Ramsay bolton into the room. As he's slowly marched forward, Ramsay gazes in untamed horror at the sight of his mutilated father. His own peeled flesh dangling like ghastly ornaments from his bloodied corpse.

Sansa: My dear husband, I offer you my sincerest condolences for the loss of your father. I've taken it upon myself to pay homage to his house and legacy. I could scarcely think of a more fitting bid farewell for man of his noteriety and stature. I do hope you like it.

Ramsay: (faintly whimpering) Yes mi lady…

Sansa: Really, It was the least I could do.

(She gently takes his right hand and stares concerningly in his eyes)

Sansa: As the new wardeness, I feel I speak to you in truth when I say…The North Remembers

(She turns to address her guards)

Sansa: You may now lead our guests back to their quarters. I need to be left in the company of my husband.

(Guards march out chained Bolton men to their makeshift cells at the stables)

Sansa: Theon, hand me that spear over there.

Just as a cowering Myranda turns to be lead out the Great Hall, she's sudenly stopped.

Sansa: Oh no no no, not you. You'll stay here.

    Myranda: Mi Lady?

Sansa: You once concerned yourself that I might bore him like the others. You will remain here to judge for yourself.

    (Turns back to Ramsay)

Sansa: Bend yourself over the great trestle table

    Ramsay: Please mi lady, don't…

Sansa: Do I have to ask you a second time? I hate having to ask a second time.

(Slow dark GoT violin music commences in the background as Ramsay slowly walks to the great table and kneels over top it.)

Sansa: Theon, fasten lord ramsay into position with rope.

Theon: With pleasure mi lady (walks off to get rope)

(Sansa glances back at Myranda whimpering in a corner with hands over her face)

    Sansa: Myranda….

(The girl uncovers her face and slowly raises her head with streams of tears visibly running down her cheeks)

Sansa: I told you to watch. You saw to it that I was made aware of your lord's affinity for excitement. Now see to it that his appetite is met.

Theon: The lord is tied mi lady

    Sansa: Thank you, Theon.

(She firmly clasps the spear with two hands and slowly aligns herself directly behind Ramsay.

Sansa: Now remove the lord's trousers

Ramsay: (Breaks Down) Lady Sansa, Please!

(Sansa stared on with empty eyes as theon ripped trouser fabric exposing Lord Ramsey's backside.)

Theon steps aside as Sansa stepped forward with spear tightly grasped and jutting forward with percise aim. With each heave, the lord let out a sobbering wail of pain as the sharp speer was rammed furiously into delicate bare flesh.

Myranda looked on shivering uncontrollably in horror. With each wail bellowed by the lord, the girl twitched violently. Dramatic GoT violin music comes to a climax as Myranda passes out of shock.

  4. No no no…. Doran Martell is suppose to be one of the great players of the game in the books….unless they pull something out of their hats in the final episode with the "fire and blood" speech, what was the freaking point of him this season.. What a waste of a solid actor and a great character.

  5. Why are people shitting on Dorne? The fourth and fifth books are really slow compared to the first three. And even the first is really slow until the end.
The Sand Snakes weren't all that bad, people just have the need to be terrible. Siddig's perfomance as Doran is sick as all hell, and let's face it, big things will happen in Dorne and the Dornish people in the coming seasons. We didn't see the Iron Islands much in season 2, doesn't mean we won't see it in the coming season.
Just relax and enjoy the bloody show. The fourth book is the slowest book in the book series. The Dorne plot this season is from Book 4 Dorne. Relax.

  6. Unless something that happens in the last episode in Dorne, they should re-name the place Bore. Biggest let down of GOT was this plot line that promised so much with Obeyren last year. Sand Sankes have been horrible…

  7. It felt like Dorne served no purpose at all besides getting Jamie out of Kingslanding. It is too bad too. It looked like the producers had to go through a lot of trouble getting the Dornish setting from the Spanish government. All for NOTHING!

  8. I do hope this is not a deviation from the book. My guess is that this is part of Doran's grand plan of taking a revenge against the Lannisters. The Martells are not supposed to be friends with the Lannisters. In the book, Doran explained his plan to the Sand Snakes and Arianne. I hope this is the case.

  9. Jon snow gets stabbed by Ollie next episode. Cersei is forced to walk naked through King's Landing, only to find her champion, the headless construct that is the former Gregor Clegaine. Dany's other two dragons get released.

  10. ahem
"I am not blind, nor deaf. I know you all believe me weak, frightened, feeble. Your father knew me better. Oberyn was ever the viper. Deadly, dangerous, unpredictable. No man dared tread on him. I was the grass. Pleasant, complaisant, sweet-smelling, swaying with every breeze. Who fears to walk upon the grass? But it is the grass that hides the viper from his enemies and shelters him until he strikes." – Doran Martell to the Sand snakes
