In season 6 were lots of more deaths. Just in the battle of the bastards were around 6000 people fro Ramsay Bolton and around 2500 people for Jon Snow. Bruh

Total deaths in the season was probably more like 8000-10000. But most of those are off screen. I'll call it as 4500-5500 from Ramsay's army of 6000 with an additional 1200 out of the 2062 of Jon's men dead. Add in the explosion of the Sept of Baelor and that's about 500 nobles inside and anywhere between 1000 and 3000 peasants in the surrounding area (Kings Landing has a population of about 500,000 according to Jamie Lannister in a densely packed city.) Also if you consider the deaths of wights and the white walkers it's probably an additional 100-300.
A season without at least 100 deaths is considered a dull affair
