From the latest episode 8, it is possible that Waif and Arya are the same person. That is to say, Arya killed Waif, the part of her that wanted to be no one, and Arya Stark survives.

The thing is that the faceless Men are trained on knowing a Lie when they See it. This has nothing to do with magic, there are just certain signs one has to look for if He wants to know if someone is lying. Also, the waif probably just went away. As Arya was fighting no one, Jaqen just appeared out of no where. I think this is a cool theory, But doesn't actually make Sense. How would Jaqen give her orders?

WHAT IF, the Waif is a no one, and when killed. Another faceless man will take on Waif's identity and continues hunting Arya.

I truly think all these ideas are just a bit to convalesced or even absurd based on the story line we have been following. Yes, there is much that is unknown and mystery surrounds the faceless men, but I just can't buy into any of thses and simply think that Aria is being hunted for failing to serve the any face god which she had sworn to do. We know that oath breakers always see to get theirs eventually, but Aia is a bit to important to let die whilst her list is so incomplete.
