  1. Just as a though. The necklaces that the red lady was wearing stop glowing when she took it off. I think she took it off to die. But if it had the power to keep her alive for all those years. Could it have the power to bring John back. I am have not read the books. I am not a major theorist, Its just the first thought that came to my mind. Can anyone give me some backup on this.

  2. while i like everyone hate waiting. i am hoping the show over taking the books doesnt interfere with what martin does. i hope he sticks to his process and makes them the way he wanted to from the start. they are a master piece and i worry he may finally be under too much pressure to finish. on the other hand. just imagine if tolkein got it in high gear and told "the silmirillian" properly. and all the other works he had laid out. books these big are a lifes work. and really will never be finished.

  3. Another problem the show has to deal with is actor's ages. I mean, if this show went on another 3+ seasons then it would be really difficult to get characters like Bran and Arya to look the ages they're suppose to play.

  4. I would not mind more flashbacks. I'm sure we will have a lot this season with bran's return but I wanna see so much I wanna see the doom of valyria and Roberts rebellion and I want to see what did happen with Lyana and rhaegar. I want to see what lead littlefinger to cause everything that he's caused and I want to see the children and the others and the first men at the time before the wall I want to see bran the builder and and and I want to know all the unknowns lol

  5. You know, Diana Gabaldon is a FANTASTIC writer. Better than GRRM in many ways. The story isn't as epic, but her descriptions and writing process is superior, and I"m only on her second book. I would pick on GRRM too because I"m kinda pissed that his show has surpassed his books. It's kind of slap in the ace to all the readers and still I am unsure if I want to watch next season until the books are out.

Also, Jack Black is scary as hell.. seeing him play Edmure, you wouldn't think he could play a truly terrifying psychopath so well.

  6. What they should have done was had 2 or even 3 separate shows that intertwined similar to how Netflix and marvel are creating the defenders franchise . Being that so many characters on that show never actually meet I feel like it would have been doable and given the fans a lot more content from the books creating a lot more depth and understanding.

  7. I'm thrilled that we still have three seasons left, but beyond that, I'd love to see Robert's Rebellion, and definitely Dunk and Egg, although it's not really "dark" enough for HBO, yet, anyway.

  8. The books and the show are two different things, they can be enjoyed in different ways. I love the books more than the show(able to do more in the books, no cost to write a dragon into a book), but I believe the show is one of the best shows on TV.

  9. Diana Gabaldon is friends with GRRM and was poking fun at him. She is also a very different writer than GRRM besides that. And her series is in a very different place than his (she just released the 8th book in her Outlander series recently) and the show is only on season 2.

  10. You know what'd be totally random but fucking awesome for season 6? If Ned Stark all along had warging abilities and just at the last second of his death warged into like a bird or something and found his way to the wall. He could then get resurrected by Melisandre into Jon Snow's body. Take it one step further a Jon Snow/Ned Stark amalgamation could fulfill Maggie the Frog's prophecy since Ned was Brandon's little brother and kill Cersei. Then I don't know he'd become evil or something –

  11. I would love to see asshai and the shadow lands becoming an element in the show, i feel like the shadow lands are the fire counterpart to the lands of always winter
