The chilling yet beautiful soundtrack that plays as Cersei Lannister’s plot of death and destruction comes to fruition. Isn’t it ironic how the soundtrack is named “Light of the Seven” and plays as the Great Sept of Baelor explodes in the ravenous flames of wildfire? Written and composed by Ramin Djawadi.

  1. When I was watching this episode and this music started playing I immediately knew something was about to go down. This music seemed so out of the ordinary for Game of Thrones and I was like "Oh shit… what's about to happen?"

  2. The must be the only who LOVED seeing Cersei blow these assholes to hell. High sparrow cunt n the permanently pouting Margery finally blown to hell, along with useless Loras, his idiot dad, and Kevan – who is a superb Tywin 2.0 in the books but utterly pathetic in the show. Loved it all

  3. This song got me fucked up when I first watched this episode. I hate Cerci's like truly I cannot find a reason to adore her, but what this song seems to capture so well is her thriving need to keep control. Her father may have earned the rains of Castamere which was an old tune of leering mythical fear but this; this captures the pure fear that this woman causes. She is a diabolical, insane, and highly intelligent woman. I think she encaptures something that is hard for any actress to show which is, she isn't an actual monster. She isn't abstract whatsoever. She shows a humane passionate being that believes highly in her own cause. She is terrifying in the fact of her need to protect and lengths to protect those and what she loves.
I think within this scene we see her become who she is.
Not a woman, not a mother, not a sister or princess. She is no longer the playing toy for her families advancement. She is her own. Her blood relations; three children, two brothers, her father and she were all seven who played the game. She is so far the only one of these seven who made it without the idea or chance of making it on the throne. In some way, I think he is the light of the seven or thus she created it when she blew up the septum.
    I hate her.
But this complexity is will attained and Cercis is far more than your average villain. She is an absolute Queen of her own darkness. She is someone if I ever met in the real world, at least I believe, I'd fear.
In other words, this woman is a complete fucking psychotic badass. You can hate her but understand why she became this woman.
Lena Headey did an amazing job so far with this character.
