  1. Let me know what you think Beric's purpose is this season on Game Of Thrones! The show has typically used him more for foreshadowing big future twists like Jon Snow coming back. Posting new Avengers Infinity War next. New Game of Thrones later this week too 🙂

  2. I think that house Mormont is one of the oldest families of the Andals and the first men. Jorah's sword Longclaw used to have a lion on the handle because house Mormont's crest is a lion. my theory is that when Azor created Light bringer it turned his wife into Leaf ( children of the forest,) In revenge she tied him up and stabbed him with dragon glass as revenge and turned him into the night king. When john was killed by his own men he returned from the dead as Azor.

  3. His purpose was to tell Jon the thing he said that helped Jon process the idea of serving a purpose he doesn't fully understand, in s7 e6. That is why his priest dies shortly after: Lord of Light doesn't require him to come back, his purpose fulfilled. Very next episode, Beric dies along with the Tormund, the "kissed by fire" ginger who told him the other important thing that helps him accept his destiny. S7 e6 is a baptism. In salt water. Jon is prince who was promised.

  4. Hodor is ressurected by Melisandre.. And he is also actually Targaryen and Stark which mean he's elder brother of Jon.. And he also will be Azor Ahai.. And Brandon Stark will die.. So Hodor is also Three Eyed Raven and Night King.. Hodor will sit on The Iron Throne..

  5. Plot twist: azor ahai is dany's and jon's son. They priestess said her her child will be the child who mounts the world. On instagram, both actors hinted she will become pregnant with her encounter with jon. The 3 heads and jon, dany and their child.

  6. I think Brienne of Tarth can be Azor Ahai. We know she is a capable warrior, winning the King Renly's tournament vs hundreds of knights, including ser loras. She has also defeated the hound and Jamie. Now lets jump to the prophecy. "When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt to wake dragons out of stone." There are 3 notable births around this time; Brienne of Tarth, Rhaenys Targaryen, and Ygritte. Rhaegar believed Aegon was the prince since the star appeared when he was conceived, but the prophecy states Azor will be born at this time, not conceived. Both Dany and Jon are ruled out since they were born after. "Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt…" Tarth is an island surrounded by salt water, and it is said that they carry the blood of Targaryens. We never really find out of Brienne's mother only that she died when Brienne was young, and doesnt remember her. But if we look at Brienne she carries the traits of Targaryens, blonde hair and blue eyes. I think she will forge lightbringer, by killing Jamie.

  7. I think Jon Snow is Lightbringer.
In the story Azor Ahai(Rhaegar Targaryen)tried to create Lightbringer, failed twice(his two kids(Rhaenys and Aegon) and succeeded by sacrificing Nissa Nissa(Lyanna Stark), because he had to end the forging by stabbing it through her(Rhaegar impregnating Lyanna) – her body was necessary for that…..( she was sacrificed)
then again who really knows its a fucking mystery

  8. I think the azor ahaI is the houd. The spot ahai had the falling outs or lack of better term. Anyway he was almost killed by the mountain when he was young. Then almost killed by brieene. He survived both. And plus the azor ahai and the hound almost look the same

  9. I think the prophecy of lightbringer (or the forging) refers to the climax battle. Jon and Dany will face off against the nightking. The nightking's touch shattering even valyrian steel. They will break the two swords (the one doused in water probably being longclaw, the one with lion's blood probably being Jaime's or Brienne's sword (or the two of them made whole again)) Anyway, either Jon or Dany gets killed, and the nightking decides to be a bit of an ass and resurrects him/her. The survivor will kill the wight, and the third, mystery sword will catch fire, allowing him/her to kill the nightking.

  10. It made sense Beric was able to light the sword on fire the first time because it looked like he did something to the blade of the sword. The hound ended up cutting right through the first sword i thought. The second time it looked like he wielded it like a lightsaber and it caught on fire without any thing that we can see. Since the first sword was broken then the second sword was most likely a different sword and the fire is a magic or chemical that could be used on any sword. It is possible the sword is special and he just had the sword forged back together but it seems unlikely he would want to remake a sword that is easily cut in half. Is it possible that Azor Ahai used this magic and LightBringer was nothing more than a regular sword?

  11. I read in the books that Azor Azai pierced his sword into the heart of his beloved and the sword gleamed into the light of the flames. Is it possible that Jon snow would do something similar to Danerys Targaryen who seems to be going slightly mad in season 7.Probably Jon would kill her with his sword and a new lightbringer comes to life. This also is a good fit as Daenerys is the embodiment of fire(and is seen impervious to it)

  12. Jon Snow is Azor Ahai. He will have to stab Daenerys in the end (after they make up and that's why it will be hard choice) in order to light his sword and defeat the White Walkers' king. As George RR Martin said: "The story will have bitter-sweet ending". Or vice versa – Daenerys will have to stab Jon.. since Valar Morgules.
But all the same – one of them is going bye bye.

  13. Beric stands to be more foreshadowing and I believe he will die north of the wall or rather at East Watch…..what I actually thought about some time ago was the fact that Jon was stabbed in the heart just as the Night King was stabbed in the heart. Possibly some foreshadowing there as well? And Melisandre didn't take great pleasure in "knowing" that Jon was Azor Ahai, according to her. If we have to talk about savior figures, Jesus is the most obvious one to mention in Western civilization, considering the Medieval feel of all this. Jesus asked God in the Garden of Gethsemane to "take the cup" from his hands if he/she/they could, ultimately though he said he would bare the burden if it was necessary. Nobody has bothered to mention the fact that being the prince that was promised was necessarily a good thing for the prince himself/herself. Stannis believed he was, Dany likes the idea that the gender neutral nature of Valyrian doesn't actually guarantee male issue….Jon unfortunately though aware of the story, is the only one so far that doesn't want any of it. This is the type of mindset that has me believing that being the PTWP is a burden that nobody should want to carry. He wanted to walk out completely after he executed the traitors, already explained to the lords in Winterfell that he didn't ask to be King….you see what I'm getting at. He's already willing to die for this…he doesn't want to be King of Westeros certainly, especially if that's already his feelings towards being King in the North. His heritage also puts his relationship with Dany at risk. Even if Bran tells him, which he probably will, Jon will keep that under wraps and sadly for many, will ruin a budding romance with Dany (that should assuage the anguish with those who can't deal with fantasy incestuous relationships, with a tad bit of fan pay off in the sense that they acknowledge to each other their feelings for one another.) We as fans have a good many heartbreaks to go through before this is all over, be it possibly Davos, Missandei, Tyrion, Arya, Jaime for some etc. but I'm willing to bet that the same sacrifice that Azor Ahai made with Nissa Nissa will be reimagined in a relationship between Jon and Dany. My 2 cents.

  14. seeing the group of "highborns" surrounding the knight king i somehow must think of the Brotherhood Without Banners … both can "manipulate" the dead and they sort of represent fire and ice .
