Man has flaming sword and no one in show cares much about it. It is just poor scenario.
Beric Dondarrion didn't die he still alive and kicking.
I don't see Beric as a really good fighter. I think he is lucky to have Lord of Light by his side. Otherwise he would have been dead already.
Should be Beric Dondarrion and his Butthole Eye
I bet the wights are thinking "Oh great, now EVERYONE is going to be camping those damn fiery avengers. There goes the neighborhood. "
After Ned Stark returned to Winterfell from the Tower of Joy he told a blacksmith to make a replica of Dawn, The Sword of Morning to give back to the House of Dayne. Jon Snow later finds The Sword of Morning in Winterfell and with Drogons breath of fire He will use the burning sword to fight off the white walkers in season 8. BINGO! The Legendary Sword crafted from the heart of a falling star. A gift from good old Ned to his nephew.
I am of the opinion that Beric himself is lightbringer. GRRM just said that he is a Fire Wight. So he has fire in him. Why can't he be used to fulfill the prophecies?
He's done this little fire magic before and the hound cut thru it. Light bringer is dawn the sword of the morning.
I think Lightbringer is a PERSON not a sword. It's a metaphor for the transmutation a specific person has gone through, I really think it's Jaime Lannister too, he's been broken and quenched several times and basically lost everything, Azor Ahai will bring light to the world by killing Cersei. It's also in line with his Kingslayer title accept he's the Queenslayer too.
Idc if he is Azor Ahai or not but I would be so pissed if Jon or Dany ends up being Azor Ahai.
I mean really? That's what everyone wants! Let him be Jaime! Or Tyron.
Beric dies this season. Jon ends up with the flaming sword, which they find out is actually the sword called Dawn which Arthur Dayne had at the Tower of Joy (They even show Dayne slam the sword into the ground on purpose so you can get a good look of the hilt design). The reason the lord of light keeps bringing Beric back to life is because he cannot die until after he meets Jon. To pass the sword onto Jon, who is Azor Ahai. Jon gives Longclaw back to Jorah.
Sorry hes not Azor.
Damn I really like Beric. He gives a badass vibe, With the Eye patch, flaming sword, and not to mention he died a bunch of times and came back. I do believe he will die in the next episode…
Could tvs baric got his hands on dawn somehow?
yea i think its lightbringer but thats not azor. it will be passed to jon or somebody else.
He has the sword "Dawn" now.. that is why he does not need to use his blood.. he is going to die.. and Jon Will end up with it.. He will use his kiss of life to bring Jon back to life and give him the sword .. Dawn .. the sword of the morning "light bringer" Yay
really good explanied, confirms my own conclussion
Did he just say "minor character"? GTFO
it's unlikely that berric is azor ahai but I hope it is him, if it was Jon snow it is just a bit predictable , I'd like a curveball and someone not so obvious! Berric or Bronn would be epic!
although it's Jon we all know it….
IT'S AAAASHBRINGEEER
I am hoping that Beric will make it out alive. I was thinking since Beric should be dead and Lady Stoneheart alive, that possibly whatever we see happen to him this season will actually be the fate of Lady Stoneheart. I'm hoping that if Dany should die next season that it is Beric (Lady Stoneheart) that gives her the gift to bring her back. Almost like a gift to Jon (I'm thinking that he will love Dany) for all of the years of her cruelty/hate while raising him as a child. A way to make amends for her wrong doing.
Honest to goodness, I can't see Azor Ahai being anything other than a legend anyway. There IS a theory that it is Jaime, bot honestly, none of it makes much sense, even in GRRM's world.
the best iconic moment in the trailer …lightbringer
THATS SO SICK BERIC DONDARRION AND JON SNOW! I DONT KNOW BOTH OF THEM SIDE BY SIDE FIGHTING AND ALSO THE HOUND IS THERE!?! DAMN JON SNOW,TORMUND,BERIC DANDARRION,AND THE HOUND ITS A FRICKING POWERHOUSE THERE LIKE THE EXPENDAPLES GUYS GUYS GUYS IM HAVING A SEIZURE ASKDJNKWJANDKBAHBDJABJSBDJWBAJSD
Hey dude I don't think there is going to be an Azor Ahai reborn, prophecy is renowned for not coming true and biting your prick off so yeah I don't think it's happening!
OK I see.. He's going to be so badass with this sword in the battle
Everybody expects Beric to die, since he is dead in the books. Probably the last person, who is dead in the books, but alive in the show. Would be epic if he survives in the show, since nobody expects that.
beric made this trailer 10 times better and his sword is lit by magic while thoros on the other hand has wildfire and he always carries a sword on his back but he never unsheathed it looks unique too
No. Of course not. It would make absolutely no sense what so ever.
who thought he was azor ahai. that is like saying sansa is a targarean
Do you think the Tarly's will side with the Lannisters to take Highgarden?
0:20–0:23 Danys looking back at Jon, as he walks up too her…….
