  1. They miss a LOT. Obviously it's the Sand Snakes who killed Cersei's daughter who are going to be the gift. Jorah left Mereen before Dany and didn't have to organize a huge fleet, so it's not unrealistic at all he'd have time to reach Oldtown. Arya says during her speech as Walter Frey something along the lines of, "Since when does old Lord Frey host two feasts in one fortnight? Ha ha." A fortnight being 14 days. So there's your timeline right there people.

  2. This is what the script reads about dragon glass:

The valyrians were familiar with dragon glass long before they came to westeros, they called it Zīrtys perzys which translates to "frozen fire" in valyerian, and eastern tails tell of how their dragons would thaw the stone with dragonflame until it became malleable. The valyerians then used it to build strange monuments and buildings without seams and joints of our modern castles.

When Agon the conqueror forged his Seven kingdoms, He and his descendants would often decorate their blades with dragonglass, feeling a kinship with the stone: the royal fashion for dragonglass ornamentation soon spread throughout the Seven kingdoms to those wealthy enough to afford it. Hilts and pommels were and are the most common decoration: for dragonglass is too brittle to make a useful ?crossguard?. Indeed it's very brittleness is what relegates it to the great houses and the most successful merchants.

  3. Just discovered Watching Thrones overnight. Watched the 4th episode and worked my way back to this one.
Seeing Kyle was a bit of a mind fuck. Been watching his post show recap on afterbuzzzzzz tv religiously for a couple years. Small world.

Keep up the good work, dudes and dudettes!

  4. Screen Junkies. Please help! All of the Starks have blue eyes except for John Snow. So if he did not get his brown eyes from his mom, that means he must have gotten them from his dad. Did Lyana have blue eyes or brown eyes? And if they are blue, that means he must have gotten them from his pops. But I looked at both Vyserus and Dany and they both have colored eyes, so that must means Rhaegar must have colored eyes too no? And if his eyes are colored, then how the hell does Jon Snow have Brown eyes? Please help! It's making me crazy.

  5. My husband and I were working different shifts so we had to wait to watch this together, it's been killing me to keep skipping over this video. Well worth the wait, really missed listening to you guys. I was scared because Ken is no longer on but those fears are now gone. <3

  6. A few things about why bran wouldn't become lord of winterfell is first I don't think he would want to second he can't have kids because he's a cripple he can't have kids and I know you said this but another thing is he's a warge ( sorry if spelt wrong ) and a greenseaer ( again sorry for spelling ) and the north is very untrusting towards them

  7. I don't think Peter gives a rats ass about Sansa………he just wants power and to not be anyones target, he will use her like he uses everyone, then throw her under the horsedrawn wagon when it suits him and it's in his best interests……his only interest in life is his own self interest……….he wants his cake and eat it too, but not Sansa's cake….I think to him she is a 2nd rate Caitlyn at best. oh and FYI, Peter has the knife…..he took it from Ned's desk I think, he was like "Oh my knife wherever did you find this" …."oh yes Tyrion won it from me" blah blah blah fake news…..and it was the knife he held to Ned's throat when he betrayed him, so I am pretty sure Peter has had it all this time……it is his houses Valerian weapon, every great house has a Valerian weapon. And you would have to be totally clueless to not know Peter sent the assassin because Cersai asked him to probably and I am sure it was her idea to try to frame Tyrion as well.

  8. Love how you missed a major point. Being forced to defend those castles is not a reward. Being forced to continue holding those two castles, being forced to defend the first two holdings to be attacked by the walkers and the army of dead, are punishments.

  9. Euron has to give one of the sand snakes as a present, because this way cerci can return the dead sand snake to dorne as a gift " returning a gift". Dorne gave cerci a gift when her daughter died. It's gonna get epic!!

  10. Uhh Gendry would be a pretty damn good gift. As a Baratheon it would bring the Stormlands back into the fold and give Cersei a much needed ally. A battered one, but still another ally. Show Littlefinger is also stuck in a corner and he will ally himself with the White Walkers and yes it can be done since Craster did it already until he was butchered by the traitor crows. As Varys said "(Littlefinger) He would see this country burn if he could be king of the ashes."

  11. hey I really loved your interactive show and you guys covered almost all the things BUT what I was really touched was the dialogue " be kind to strangers and they will be kind to you" because in the same episode you see hound facing the strangers ( dead cabin guys) and Arya meeting goods guys from bad side. also brayn Stark a stranger to men who guard the wall being let in really twins in a lot of things! one other thing about the Stark argument is ( if Arya left the guards alive is she more like John and if she kills them more like Sansa ) this is bumming me a lot. what do you say?

  12. Spencer is great at this. Love the energy of the show. Always a fan of Roth and Michelle seems great so looking forward to tuning in every week. (I used to be obsessed with apoiaf so good to see you too Kyle.)

  13. Did anyone else notice how bad the CGI scaling for the dragons was in the dragonstone scene? they're the same size 2m from the camera as they were flying presumably several hundred metres away around the castle. the inconsistency of these dragons is a massive sore point for me because their size directly correlates to their value in the wars to come.

  14. The Wall has different magic than the Children's cave, so I don't think Bran crossing over will have any effect on it. Remember the wights from the first season (one attacked Commander Mormont)? If the cave magic was in effect, the wights either would not have risen in the first place or just popped right after they did.

  15. Sansa could have made the Carstarks and Umbers Vassals of house stark, essentially giving them no right to rule and about the same royalty level as a second cousin. Seems like a good way to consolidate forces at winterfell and keep the living on the side of the living. if they survive the long night and prove loyal once more then give them the castles back and renounce them as vassals. During the long night the Brotherhood could occupy one and the Knights of the Erie could occupy another with their Cavalry whilst the infantry joins the watch on the wall.

Also it isn't essentially Canon as far as i know but the Telltale Game of Thrones game introduces the Whitehills and the Forresters as minor northern houses. With all of those smaller houses they could manoeuvre small garrisons to the lesser castles on the wall to prevent flanking wights. There's also the question of the northgrove and what that is / does and why it's important during the long night.

Also $50 says Bran wargs into one of the 3 dragons at some point.

  16. eye patches for pirates are only for on the ship, off the ship they wouldn't have an eye patch. Also his ships don't really seem like they have a dark under lower deck that needs to keep night vision in one of his eyes, so there seems to be no reason for an eye patch anyway

  17. She's the stark in winterfell, it's shitty that she was passed over anyway, so yeah, let her talk in front of everyone, it's her seat anyway, he shouldnt even be there, he's a general, not a lord/king

  18. returns a gift i think more of giving a gift to someone who gave her a gift. you gave me a necklace of my daughter and then killed her, here is a piece of one of your daughters

  19. Could this be made into a podcast? I know that there are too many GoT podcasts, but it would be way more convenient to listen to a pre-downloaded podcast in the car than to watch an hour-long video when I have Internet.
