Game of Thrones is currently one of the biggest shows on Television, and as such it’s not missing any awards! The awards season is on, and as we reported recently, Game of Thrones Season 7 was recently nominated at the Golden Globes, and now the show has gained nominations at yet another : The Critics’ Choice Awards. The nominations for the Critics’ Choice Awards were recently revealed, in a report by Deadline. First off, Game of Thrones has bagged itself a nomination for Best Drama Series. Here is the full list of nominees :

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu)

Moving on, Peter Dinklage, who plays the role of Tyrion Lannister on the show, has been nominated for theBest Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, which is rather weird since he has significant screentime on the show and could have easily been nominated in the Best Actor category, rather than being in the Supporting. As far as the Best Actor categories go, Game of Thrones didn’t get any nominations. While the category placements are weird, Game of Thrones has a good chance of bagging some wins at the Critics’ Choice Awards, scheduled to be held on January 11, 2018, at 9:00 p.m. EST.
