I'm not sure why my comment is missing but we're okay and even though the eye passed over this house twice we were lucky the flooding didn't reach here. I have lots of friends and family all over the greater Houston area and it is breathtaking the amount of devastation there is. So again thank you. To anyone who reads this comment and decides to donate money and go to those two sites. Consider spending whatever that money was in half to also give to the people in Bangladesh that are suffering from historic flooding there.

That intro was epic, you guys are my favorite GOT channel with the most interesting commentary… I'm not as excited for next season after watching this one… it was sloppy and hasty and suffered from the lack of source material for sure…

If all this stuff just happened so Sansa could sit in the Iron Throne at the end of the series i swear to God that I'm burning all my Song of Ice and Fire books. Even Gendry would be more interesting in the Iron Throne than Sansa Stark.

The trouble with the Sansa character arc is that a lot of what has happened to her (including the horror of being married off to Ramsay Bolton) doesn't happen to Sansa in the books. It may work in the series, but it's drifted quite far away from the source material.

Tyrion didn't make a deal with Cersei! When King's Landing soldiers don't show up, the deal will be void, right? Why would Tyrion honor his end if Cersei doesn't send troops?

Also, Sam's job was to transcribe old scrolls. If they were in a legible state so that Gilly could read them, then that means SAM ALREADY TRANSCRIBED THEM. He read/rewrote the stuff about Rhaegar and Lyanna already, he just never saw the connection to Jon (and why would he have) until Bran.
I watch you guys because you're logical and intelligent, but honestly the amount that has flown over your heads in a super-dumbed-down season is incredible.

The wights are undead, so they will and cannot drown. They obviously can't swim, but all the wights that fell into the lake when the ice cracked are still down there walking around on the lake floor.
If the chains were thrown down, they could tie the dragon. It's really not hard to fathom.

Maybe Jon Snow came to the conclusion that the wights couldn't swim when they fell through the ice and sank during the wight hunt. At this point he didn't know about chains used to pull Viscerion out of the lake. Remember that Jon knows nothing, they've told us that a few times now.

I didn't understand why tyrion would want to dare cersei to kill him like that,when he came into the room he knew how much she hated him and then he starts saying all the things he has done to the family, directly and indirectly and cersei does nothing?!.. didn't make any sense right then so l guess it must be significant to the plot in season 8

What if Tyrion told Cersei that Dany can't have kids. And that some kind of council would elect the king/queen after the war, and he promised to work for the Lannisters to get elected. What if he promised to protect Cersei's new child. After all, he was saying that besides anything he loved the children.
