In the first season, when Ned was Hand of the King, there was a scene right before he was captured, when Arya was in his "office" and he had the dagger sitting on top of the book of noble houses. And when she leaves that room Littlefinger is entering. So she's already seen the dagger in her father's possession right before he dies. Maybe when she rolls back up to Winterfell she'll see Littlefinger with it and put 2 & 2 together that he played a part in Ned's death. And Bran is likely to tap into his Three Eyed Raven abilities to not only see his accident but his attempted assignation as well and he will see the dagger too. The two of them will tell Sansa that he's got to go and it could go several ways from there. She could say no, that they need him to keep the Vale army. Or a better plan would be one of the Stark sisters (likely Arya) marries Robyn and becomes Lady of the Vale, thereby gaining control of the army. Arya will agree to this only if she gets to kill a lot of people. She kills Robyn on the Wedding night and takes his face. She then uses his face to kill Littlefinger, and will simply relieve him of the dagger when she kills him. All with Sansa watching on giving us her "Ramsey getting his face eaten by his dogs" smirk.
there is a similar sword to needle, Dark Sister, and last time i think it was in the posesion of brynden rivers ak tree eyed raven.
The Bran dagger? As you say, this raises a whole bunch of questions. And the fact any Starks are still alive at all is in spite of Littlefinger's best efforts, and by rights Littlefinger should be starving in Winterfell's dungeons, not whispering in Sansa's ear! There's the small matter that Baelysh killed their aunt (Lysa) – right in front of Sansa. But Sansa seems to have forgotten all about it, and doesn't even considered it important enough to mention. However you look at it, Littlefinger is guilty of way too many crimes against the Starks to ever have been taken into their confidence. Why did Catelyn take Tyrion hostage (sparking the war of the 5 kings)? Because LF told Catelyn the dagger was Tyrion's. Why did Ned plot to take the throne away from Joffrey and give it to Stannis? Because LF convinced him the gold cloaks would back him up (they backed the Lannisters instead). Why did Janos Slynt and Ser Illyn move so quickly to take Ned's head at the Great Sept of Baelor? Becase LF talked Joffrey into doing it. Who murdered Joffrey at the Purple Wedding? Olenna Tyrell, with a lot of help from LF. On and on, this bastard lol and nobody ever even suspects him of anything! The fact LF is still even alive, and not dead or at the Wall, defies every rule of this story. Even Varys had to go into exile, meanwhile LF's lord of Harrenhal and Lord regent of the Vale! So whatever grisly death Lord Littlefinger gets its a long time coming and well deserved!
I think Arya is going to go beyond the wall with Jon at the end of the season. She is going to want to go too with that dagger and he will let her bc he is the one who gave her needle so he supports her wanting to fight.
How you guys know it's the same blade? And the dagger was last reported to be with little finger…
Arya will kill LF with it, she has him on her list since she was Tywins cup barer and baelish was betraying robb to tywin.. that could be his downfall….. great vid as always bud!
I hope Jon gives Arya the dagger. There is no way, even if everyone in the world gets a dragonglass or Valaryen steel weapon, (the numbers of which would be impossible), that the White Walkers/Army could be defeated in hand-to-hand combat. But what about Edmure? Granted, he is not the strongest person in the world, but he DID defeat the Lannister army and he took on what wasn't even his duty by marrying a Frey, (he was just lucky it was the best-looking one). Can't we count him in?
Maybe this is what she finds under the bed from the trailer or if she kills LF she takes it from him 🙂
if you think its spoilery then why make a video on it? just curious
LF might kill Yohn Royce or someone else (please, not Lady Lyanna), who might be in his way in WF. And Arya investigates the murder after coming back to WF and seeing that LF lying even when he is asking something (Arya can detect lies from the FM training). I think, he might become suspicious toward him as she sees him plotting Sansa against Jon and trying to take over the North. And she will investigate his room and finding the dagger beneath his bed… I got you…
If she asks Bran about the dagger, Bran could reveal the scene, when Cat told to Robb, Theon, and Rodrick Cassel in the godswood about the catspaw trying to kill Bran with the dagger in S1. And then Bran can watch many things about LF on the weirwood tree. Arya remembers that LF was constpiring with Tywin at Harrenhall, and she read a letter, what Tywin received later, probably about the preparations for the Red Wedding. I think, the idea of the Red wedding was from Baelish either, he needed Robb dead to get Sansa to heir of Winterfell. LF could handle the negotiations between the Boltons, Freys and Tywin about that. Anyway, we still don't know, what was in that letter, but it was important. Because I think, Arya knew, there will be a trap for Robb, because she wanted desperately hurry to get back to Robb (her quarrels with the Brotherhood and then with the Hound, she always wanted to move faster, right away to Robb, probably to warn him, to stop the trap, was Tywin and LF was created for him).
And if Arya and Bran figures it out, who LF really is, Sansa will listen to them, and then LF's fate is sealed in that second, when Sansa finds out, that he was behind the killing of every Stark men (Ned, Robb, Bran almost with the catspaw) to get her to heir of WF.
Imagine Arya meeting Nymeria. Seven hells, would be resplendent to see a badass pack of wolves. They'd definitely be able to take out loads of Wights. Strong and quick and teamwork. Whoa. And three big motherfuckers in the sky raining down air support and protection. Just imagine.
Imagine Sansa and Arya team up to kill LF and Arya gets to keep the dagger! That would be like them reconciling after all the fights they had… Oh, and since I also think that Arya and Jon won't meet up too soon, it would be cool if Arya somehow showed up to save Jon's ass with that dagger _.. HOOOOO maaaan, my fan girl heart is dying on me!
what if she kills little finger with the dagger?
What if somehow Sansa is preasured into wedding Littlefinger but finds the dagger, discovers the truth of this long betrayal to her family where she recruits Arya who wears Sansas face and kills Littlefinger with the dagger. Taking it for her own
The hound tells arya that LF held that dagger to ned's neck..arya..being who she is will want to kill LF with a bit of style..she will find that knife and kill LF with his own blade..a blade used against her own family.
oh I do hope Arya kills Little Finger. The sooner the better for me, I can't stand the weasely shit.
Go Arya!!!
Yes!! How did she get the dagger?? The last time we saw the dagger LF said it was his and that he lost it to Tyrion. Did he keep it after that day? Did Cat?? Did Arya find it? Was it given to her? The questions..gahh!! Great video as always, Fentony 🙂
OMG. you're a genius. I'm shooketh :O
This is a real tinfoil theory but what if Arya gets dark sister? Like it's really crazy because it's technically lost but the last person to have it was Brendan rivers aka the three eye Raven and when he died (show) so maybe merra got it before leaving the cave might of gotten it and maybe bran will give it to his dark sister
Rogues carry matching daggers! Maybe she just has the twin?
