  1. I think that we know Sansa will be pulled between conflicting loyalties in this season. I think the line retains its original meaning but is related to Sansa rather than Arya. It could be Sansa telling Littlefinger or even Arya that she remembers her father's warning and that in the end she decides to remain loyal to her family. I think the lone wolf isn't an actual person but a hypothetical one – a Stark who turns their back on their family.

  2. I believe that Ned's stark quote don't refers to starks only it refers to all the main characters. and lonewolf will be little finger. Here's what I believe, remember when we heard little finger talking about fighting battle in mind.. and we all know he's trying to sperate starks to be specific Jon and Sansa. I think little finger was talking to Sansa to which Sansa replied with her father's word. and I believe that Sansa somehow will kill little finger for betraying Ned Stark with the help of other starks which refers as pack and as we all know little finger lonewolf will meet his maker

  3. Jon does not have the blood of the dragon unless he was given it with the magic that brought him back from the dead. when he saved mormont from the undead he burnt his hand on the lamp he threw at it. He's also a targaryen before a stark technically. He's both really. He is ice and fire.

  4. I don't believe that there is an actual person that will be a "lone wolf". I believe that it's just a Stark saying that Ned uses to illustrate that the Starks (IE. The wolves) need to stick together in hard times (winter) because they will die if left on their own. It's basically just a saying that means they need to stick together to survive.

  5. A literal translation: “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.” Snows Falls = Winder is Here. White Winds blows = White Walkers fights. It will be probable be Benjen to die – he’s a character that likes to be a loner.

  6. I think the "lone wolf" Sansa refers to is what she would be if Littlefinger succeeds in getting Sansa and Arya to oppose each other. I believe Sansa is speaking to Littlefinger when she speaks this passage, and it's her way of saying "I will not betray my family". I don't think Littlefinger will survive this season, certainly not in the North (he might still have a card to play if he can escape to King's landing).
That said, I think your Benjen theory is a good one, just not the correct one; I just don't think Sansa has enough to do with Benjen's arc that she would speak this passage the way she does in the trailer.

  7. The pack was separated from each other since S1. Several of the lone wolfs have died but some survived and the pack reunites. The pack will protect each other and will hunt as a pack from now on. (which is why I think LF will be a pack kill not just by Arya…its sansa more than anyone who got hurt by LF…she won't let Arya simply kill him..she will screw with him as he did with her first…using him for strategic gains first). Benjen will die as well simply cause he is stuck out there and already the undead. But is he really the lone wolf? He is near Bran and Jon…helping and protecting his pack when they need him. He isn't the lone wolf he is the weakest member of the pack who will get cut off from his pack during the winter.

  8. In the show I believe that Benjen told lord commander mormont who Jon really was and swore him to secrecy and promised to make him his steward. Therefore, making it easier for Jon's leadership to fall through. To become lord commander himself. The rest is history.

  9. Do you think Benjen knows that Jon is Lyanna's son? That's one secret Ned couldn't handle alone and Benjen had the same relationship to Lyanna as Ned did.

Just an idea, but Benjen could potentially tell Jon while he's separated from his team.
