My theory on why they made Sansa quote "Lone wolf dies, but the pack survives" in this season (and apologies of anyone else also thought of it) is:

Ned's messages were always cryptic. What if, when he used this quote, he was foreshadowing that: when "the WHITE WINDS blow" (Winds of Winter/ White Walkers), the lone wolf dies (those who do not unite), but the pack survives (those who choose to band together).

Jon emphasizes on the importance of joining together, uniting all houses, becoming a pack of wolves, if they wanted to survives.

Similarly, contrary to many beliefs, the quote used by Sansa, in my opinion, is not about Ned or Jon getting killed while the rest of the Starks survived, rather this is another way of warning the North & Westeros that they NEED to band together as a pack of wolves to hunt down the Winter, to survive the Winter (the Long Night/ The Kight King/ The winds of Winter).

Ned's message to his children was clear… Winter (Night King) is Coming, and when the Snows (Wights) fall and the White Winds (White Walkers) blow, the lone wolf dies (those who refuse to unite under the Starks) but the pack (United Westeros) survives.

EDIT: PS – the guy said he got his plot leaks from Watchers on the Wall in his part 1 video btw… there was something about Theon jumping overboard when he and Yara are attacked with him being rescued by an Ironborn. I think that may be who brings him back to Dragonstone.

I believe Sansa's speech about the lone wolf dies alone and the pack survives is when she tells Peter Little Finger to "F" off for his evil whispering…just my two cents…not about Jon per se. It's about Sansa letting Little Finger know she's sticking with the pack and not going it alone like LF wants Sansa to do…anyway that's what I think…crazy stuff. Everything mixed up and mashed together so it's hard to tell what's what…less than one month to go

How many white walkers are there?! The 'army of the dead' consists of a lot of whights, but you don't need valerian steel or dragon glass to kill/destroy whights. I've only counted a couple of white walkers at a time. So you don't need that much valerian steel?! I mean, if there are only like 13 or 20, why the problem of finding valerian steel/dragon glass? Hell why be afraid of the 'army of the dead' at all? I mean, if you kill the Night King and the couple of White Walkers; problem solved? Those brainless whights could be smashed easily with strategy? No matter how many there are….

I don't think the Night's king can control Jon, he controls corps. Also he can't control Uncle Benji who's half dead then how can he control someone alive like Jon

Excellent – most accurate write up today – Jon killing the white walker doesn't mean much unless there are more to see it (Dani, the Hound, etc.) so they can see for themselves why you need Valaryian steel.
