The one you saw in frame ia not the king of whites. He is one of their leader but not the king.

a. That's not the Night King whom Jon is fighting. It's some second grade white walker. Two of whom has already been killed by Sam and Jon.

b. The guy with the fire sword is Berric Dondarian. He's not a red priest, Thoros of Myr is the red priest who has brought him back to life 6 times. This guy has the power to fire up his sword with his blood. But point to be noted is that he has been killed 6 times, one of which was by the Hound. So, bottom line he's not a hero. He will die in the battle with the walkers.

Isn't the sword called lightbringer? That is the original sword of Azor Ahai. Stannis had a sword named after the original light bringer. The belief is the promised prince will take the sword in the time of need..(the sword radiates heat and thus burns the person holding it meaning a Targareyn shd b able to hold it)and save the world. Thats y Melissandre believed Stannis was the promised prince. The sword has a significance which will be revealed this season I hope.

Well Beric Dondarion in the books did die but it was to give his life to Catelyn Stark which then became Lady Stoneheart and led the Brotherhood without Banners killing and slaughtering every one who was connected to the red wedding that were still in the norht little by little. But Beric is just a really good fighter that is the leader of the Brotherhood without banners and has a red priest by his side Thoros of Myr who is the one that keeps bringing him back every time he dies.

Personally I'm curious and intrigued what are they going to do with him since this is uncharted territory for us book readers and for the character itself since he has been long dead in the books by this time. I wonder if he will give his life for one of the main characters that will die this season.

I stopped watching when you asked "What the hell was that?!" at the sight of Beric freakin' Dondarrion brandishing a flaming sword. Like a self-professed pop culture geek should at least know the basics of the GOT-verse, especially considering we're already SEVEN SEASONS in.

why they didn't mention that Valyrian steel can also kill whitewalkers and it was jon snow who was fighting that long haired white walker(their second leader) as he wielded that valyrian steel sword which only belongs to jon snow….
