A small group of wights with one white walker ,every wight dies but one , the horde didnt attack until the dragons are close and they have prepared icy spears and chains , it was a fukin trap.

Seems unlikely that they'd have four chains of that thickness, hundreds of feet long, all the way up there where wildlings have had to scavenge for proper weapons south of the wall due to lack of resources (i.e. metal and blacksmith forges).
