Game of Thrones’ seventh season has long since finished, preparations for the eighth (and final!) season now fully underway.
Numerous members of the cast have been spotted around Belfast, the shooting location for much of Game of Thrones, predominantly Winterfell, The Wall, and Dragonstone.
Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei, Tweeted about being based in Northern Ireland, one fan spotting the actress with Liam Cunningham at a boxing game in Belfast.
Lol whenever I can hear life outside from my hotel in Belfast it always sounds like people are having THE best time

As picked up by Watchers on the Wall, other members of the public have Tweeted about spotting Game of Thrones actors around the city, including Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne), Kit Harrington (Jon Snow), and Rupert Vansittart (Lord Royce).
Signs for the HBO show have also been spotted around Belfast, forecasting that filming should begin in the immediate future.

What exactly they’re filming remains to be seen. Considering the actors who have been spotted, we imagine the showrunners are planning Jon’s arrival in Winterfell.
Meanwhile, a recent casting announcement for the upcoming season debunked a fan theory concerning Daario Naharis and The Golden Company.
Game of Thrones is expected to return either late 2018 or early 2019.
