Is it me or the Children of the Forest are retarded ?

I mean they smashed the arm of Dorne but it was too late the 1st men were already on the main land murdering em and cutting their old gods for fire wood

They skrimished with the first men and lost terribly

They tried to smash the neck of Westeros and failed miserably

They created the White Walkers to deal with the 1st men which backfired resulting in the greatest war the world had ever seen

Cersei will be the last villain standing.  I expect the NK thing to be resolved in episodes 3 or 4, with the remaining time spent dealing with her.

I wonder if the Night King will "reign-in" the ice dragon during the fighting? After all, you can't resurrect an army from ashes.

how cool would it be if their swords clash, and Jon's eyes turn purple and his hair begins to turn silver. The Night King's Ice cracks off of his body and he becomes human again and they just duke it out. Man and Valyrian just like old times.

Wouldnt it be best if the entire North gathered a bit North of Winterfell, send all non-fighters down to the Freys former home since it is basically empty. If the other castles and towns are empty, perhaps they will be left alone.

Or divide the army in two and keep half to defend Winterfell?

I think if the final battle was with Cerci and not the Night king, it would be a huge disappointment since they’ve been hyping him up since the early seasons.

Yaay!! I think the final battle will have place in King's Landing, Cersei will be already dead from a few chapters back and Jon Snow will die ( but he'll kill the Night King)

Sorta like you said, but I'm hoping they do the major night king fight at winterfell in episode 5 and then a big cersei fight for 6 to rap things up

That battle outside of King's Landing makes me believe there is some truth to that leaked script of Season 8, though I still think much of it is a sham.
