Game of Thrones Season 8 does not air until 2019 but filming is well under way. With the recent filming news I am going to speculate on how I think the series might end.

I can see Jon leading the fight against the dead in KL. I do agree though that Cersei will be problematic, that’s if she’s still alive. I feel revelations in season 6 and 7 are setting Jon up to be the king in the end. He is, kind of, the Aragorn of the story. What is interesting is Jon isn’t that interested in being King. So I think a bittersweet ending for him would be to survive the long night, come to terms with the truth of who he is and to become King in the end, even though he doesn’t really want to.

I think the Night King is already defeated, but the dawn won't be enough, Cersie has to be beaten as well… My theory is that Dany dies in that final battle with Night King, Jon doesn't care about the Iron Throne, then Bran and Sam tell him the truth of who he is and Tyrion will convince him that he has to defeat Cersie in Dany's memory to break the wheel as she wanted.. So that final battle at King's Landing will be against the Gold Company… And in a round about way Cersie is defeated by a younger more beautiful queen ..
I'd love to see Cersei go Mad Queen and torch the city, but you know someone is going to get the satisfaction of murdering her.
Jon Snow… This whole thing is about him. Dany too, but really Jon. He's going to wreck Season 8.
Ah Jon Snow the Aragorn of Game of Thrones.

I'm starting to think that one plot leak was real the one where it said Jon flew back to King's Landing on regal the plead with Circe and Jon gets killed and so does regal that's probably real
